I miss this great family

I mean, as good as the Connor's are we will never feel as much for Liam as we did for the legendary Mike Baldwin, when he died in his long time rivals arms (kinda like Liam in Tony's arms, but a lot more history)

and Danny Baldwin, no matter how good Paul Connor was, he wasnt as clever and cunning as Danny, who orchestrated his disappearance so that he could destroy Jamie's marraige

 and last but not least, Frankie Baldwin (Dan's wife, not Mike's dad) who was better anyday than Michelle :D

Coronation Street has gone way down hill in the past 3 to 5 years.Scripts don't interest me as much, and the characater quality and great dialogue has lessened.I miss those actors too, they had great talent and added gusto to the screen.

Mike Baldwin was a great character without doubt but I really cannot say the same about "nephew" Danny who was really one dimensional, his whiney Essex wife whose name I cannot even remember, the terrible "acting" from his son Warren and Jamie who was OK but ran off with Violet after proclaiming undying love to the woman that brought him up from a child.
