hi i was wondering if anyone could please help me. i have been putting blonde streaks in my hair using a cap for years but found that it did not get right to the roots. my sis in law then decided that we would do it using foil instead. well this went completely wrong and went yellow. as she had some dark brown (almost black) hair dye in her house we decided to put some dark streaks in to try and disguise the yellow well this was even worse as i then looked like a tiger. so today she said to put in a light brown hair dye in the only thing is that i am very pale and have never had my hair dark before and i hate it. i cant afford to go to the hairdressers to sort it out and i dont know what else to do.i have a wedding this sunday too!!

do you think that i would get away with putting some blonde streaks through it on friday?

that wont work, all you can do is go to somewhere like sallys hair and beauty supplies and get something called a colour stripper, it goes by many different names but it reduces the colour so it fades to up to 5 shades lighter so it shouldnt be so dark.

 

the only other thing you can do is use some professional bleach and use that with foils to bleach the hair colour and then apply blonde colour to the sections

Hi if i was you i would go and get a colour stripper, but be carefull as you can only strip ur hair up to 3 times.. then once you have done that, it will b ur natural colour, then find a blonde thats going to go with that colour, and not go yellow.. I wouldnt use bleach personally as it breaks ur hair off. As i worked in a salon, and have seen alot of bleached hair recked, you should never put bleach on hair when its gone wrong!

i went from black to perfect blonde in  6 hours

in the hairdressers, 2 colour strippers and blonde dyes and toners

it came to 70£

but its got to be worth it rather than 8£ a box dye every few days it goes wrong right?

 

 

that's what i want to do.do you mind saying which hairdressers you used?some of the ones i've rang won't do it!
