I have been watching this series and was disappointed last week when Trevor visited Jamaica.  Thus far he was highlighted how beautiful the caribbean is but visited Jamaica and showed the worst parts.  I mean really, if you were visiting England for the first time would you highlight the ghetto or would you showcase the many splendid places of interest.     Jamaica is the home of many beautiful sites so it was a shame to highlight Coronation Market and talk about the crime rate.    Disappointed!

I agree.  Did you notice that the week before when he went to Trinidad (where he was born) he talked about it having oil and visited the carnival.  No mention about its crime rate or the fact that it is the murder capitol of the Caribbean.  Very, very biased.  Though I'm not surprised Jamaica always gets bad press.

It was not inviting at the way Jamaica was viewed. In fact, if I did not know better I would have thought all my friends were lying about how good Jamaica is. I grew up in Montserrat and have been through the volcanic disaster and it upset me to see that the only footage they can show is the damage the volcano has done and nothing of how the unaffected areas have flourished and developed. Its seems to be more about the rich people than the actual beauty of the islands.
