    the food in the woolie

Remind me never to eat food in the woolpack, Marlon is always talking over the food and breathing over it, and takes ages to take it to the customer, I find this really annoying, come on central, sort it out, chefs dont take the food to the customer and they certainly dont breath all over it,

I've seen worse habits in kitchens - which is why I never eat out !

Not to mention the  constant stream of Marlon's family and friends that have meetings with him in the kitchen, helping themselves to food ready on the plates,  Eli sitting on the worktops and now babysitting Charity's kid.  elf n safety would have a field day in the Woolie.

It has crossed my mind in the past that often Marlon spends so long yacking with family or friends at the bar, whilst holding plates of food, on the way to table, that half of it must be cold by the time it reaches the customer!

It really is time to do something with Marlon, how about an entry into the 'Professionsl Masterchef' competition and then a move to the restaurant at the upgraded B&B?

We are to believe that Marlon is actually a good chef. In which case, if he stayed behind the scenes at the B&B (from a client point of view, not a telly viewer point of view!) I think that he would be an asset. The B&B could do with a bit of vigour injecting into it, again we are led to believe, and he could give them an impressive menu, which would certainly help.

    Good call Nemisis!

I  have never eaten anwhere, restaurant or pub, where the chef brings the food to the tables, they have waiting staff to do that.

I think it depends on how many people are working in the Woolie at the time, the other day Moira was taking the food to the tables.

If Marlon didn't serve the food, he wouldn't get out of the kitchen and there can only be a limited amount of storylines they could do in there.

Plus as I said in my previous post they don't have that many staff in the Woolie, Jake used to do the serving but now he's gone so its up to Marlon or seeing if anybody is free.
