    The X Factor

I have not seen a heading for this show, so am using this one.

'Same Difference,' whose name is contradictory, are 'A Person's Carpenters.'  they are wishy washy, to date.

Rhidian, is head and shoulders above the rest.  I hope, that he wins.

The programme though, is an updated 'Stars In Their Eyes,' with Simon Cowell, taking Tony Hatch's part, and having, at times, a similar personality. At least SITE, varied the judges.  The X Factor does not, and could do with having a coloured representative, man or woman, as happened previously.Yes

    Hi ,

Yeah Rhidian is the favourite to win after last night's performance . I can't get over how nasty and cutting the remarks between the judges were. Was this staged do you think or was it for real ?

Sharon should be ashamed of herself! Beverly should still be in, Hope are not a group, they are a female singer with 4 backing singers! And Same Difference should be singing in Butlins!

I'd like to see Nikki win the X Factor. Her perormance of Fields of Barley on Saturday was one of the best performances this year.

Who in their right minds voted for same difference over Nikki - the woman has an amazing voice, totally amazing!!!!! same difference cant even sing, I hardly heard the brothers voice apart from their last song.

NIKKI - YOU ARE AMAZING AND I CAN NOT believe you didnt get through to the final.

The final three should have been LEON, RHYDIAN AND NIKKI - same difference should have been going home this evening!

    And thats that!

    Re: The X Factor

I can't believe that Nikki did not get through.  Now a wasted talent and I hope that she will go on to be a star.  I would certainly buy her records.  A voice of an angel.  However, I feel it very unfair that Leon was able to sing live on stage in front of thousands of people at Wembley with Michael Buble this week getting an advantage with extra votes from Michael Buble fans.  Not Fair At All.  This should not have been allowed.  He was rubbish tonight, out of tune and boring, he certainly is NO Michael Buble and never will be.

    Re: The X Factor

Absolutely agree smileygirl, the GP have done it again voting off the only decent singer in the show.

Who is voting for Leon? I've watched every show and there hasn't been a single occasion when he's held a tune through the whole song. He has improved, but he couldn't really get worse.

Rhydian still has a good voice and delivers the songs well, but would he last very long as a 'star' - a bit like Steve Somebody who won a few years ago.

Same difference are ideal for Summer Shows at a resort or panto but recording artists? No, no.

Nikki was much more varied in the material she was able to sing, and last night I thought she was the only one with the potential to be a lasting recording artiste.

I would like to see details of the number of votes for the individual acts. It's time these programmes were more transparent with phone voting.Super Angry

Disappointing result on Saturday. I had to hold on to my chair to make sure I didn't fall over in shock. The final will be boring without Niki singing now.

    Re: The X Factor

I have been watching the auditions for the 2008 series.  The show as usual is great fun but PLEASE can the judges stop distorting the English language!  100% is the most you can give so stop all these really stupid 1000%'s and even stupider numbers.  You are spoiling a great programme with this idiocy.

I agree, it is an americanism to say 110% and such like, it is stupidity.

Plus I am thoroughly disappointed with Robbie Williams, with his proselytising in his new single, he has become a religious nut, that feels the need to broadcast his new found faith to the nation, as if it makes him more likeable or respectable, judging that the arch bishops of this country believe that the floods of the past few years were caused by homosexuality, their opinions are archaic and down right stupid.

I only hope this single is a complete flop.
