Its UMED not AHMED and he is already leaving you will be happy to know. 

It is possible that we will be rid of him soon. He was telling Dev on Friday that he has to go back to Mumbhai and sort out his affairs as he had fled from gambling debts there. Hopefully he will do so and then not return! Utterly pointless, totally irritating character.

i think it looks like after fridays episode that uncle ume dis goign THANK GOD maybe corrie have been reading the posts and have decided to listen to the fans that he cant act brought nothing to corrie an was not  in the slightest bit funny. . whatever rthe reason im glad.

I said ages ago when Uncle Umed first arrived there was more to his visit than he said and he admitted it on Friday when he told Div he was broke because he had gambled his businesses away.

I liked him, I thought he had comic potential but having most of his scenes with "can´t act, won´t act" Dev will stifle anyone´s talent!!

I also liked Umed and am sorry to see him go.Its a funny old world,Umed was always pleasant and cheerful yet was disliked by almost everyone,yet Blanche who never opens her mouth unless it is to utter vicious,spiteful,offensive remarks is loved.I don't get it.
