If Simon Cowell wants to pull the Xfactor out of the ashes he needs to get rid of Louie Walsh.

As much as I think Louie is a nice man, his tendancy to choose a rubbish Irish act over other far better alternatives is blatant bias. John and Edward should have taken their chances on a show like Britains Got talent,but not a singing contest-they would be good presenters but they are not a pop duo by far.

A lot of promising acts have now crashed out of the Xfactor because I suspect most of Ireland and indeed anyone who doesn't like the Xfactor will be voting to keep the two lads in.

You cannot have judges who think it is amusing to choose second rate acts over the real talent knowing they will progress through geographic voting.
 

That's assuming there IS an XFactor next year ..... I'm finding it increasingly suspicious that voters are phoning the number for the act they want and finding they have voted for John and Edward which is NOT the act they want ... now if this happens once it's possible it was a misdial but when it happens more than once you've got to wonder just how widespread it is.

Of course, I doubt we will ever find out officially because if there has been a problem on a large scale you can bet your bottom dollar it won't be publicised ... look at all the revenue that'd be lost if the voting stopped.

But if that happens to enough people word will get out and that'll probably be the end of the show.

As for Louis ... he is really getting on my pip this year ... bumping his gums, churning out twaddle and just being a general nuisance ... IMHO

They should change the voting system. You still get to vote for an act, but you can cast a positive or negative vote and the net result is the total number of votes e.g. if 1500 people hate Jedward, and only 500 people vote postive for them, net result is -1000.

That way those who hate an act get their say and those who like an act can also support their favourite.
