    Glock to McLaren?

Already mentioned it on here but got no response so thought i'd say again!

I think him and Lewis could be a good pairing and he certainly is a good driver!

Was under the impression that Glock -> Renault was a done deal to be officially announced next week

I hope not, he's never impressed me.

    Re: Glock to McLaren?

Glock impressed me during the races but his qualifying lets him down - in fact he seems to be the opposite to Trulli who qualifies well but then goes backward in the races.

I think Mclaren would be better with - ideally - Kimi, if not then Rosberg, there's always Paffet or Di Resta if they want to bring a young one up. I think theyre looking for someone to push Hamilton but also to bring in solid points too, in which case Heidfeld would be a good bet.

so ultimately I can't see them going for Glock but he definately deserves to be in a decent team next season.

In fairness McL probably owe him a favour for Brazil 08 anyway, many people on here said at the time how long would it be before he got a McL offer.  Would rather see him there than Jens,  it would be drastic for Jens

I also believe Glock has a contract at Renault for 2010.

Rosberg has the Mercedes deal in his pocket and his drive will be confirmed once the Merc/Brawn Deal goes ahead.

If Mclaren can’t agre terms with Kimi (and it beginning to that way) then NR will be at Mclaren.

The question is who will be at Brawn? Any ideas chaps?

I don't think your scenario is going to happen.

However, in case it would, there are still Heidfeld and Trulli without a seat. And I was reading today that even Coulthard thinks that he still has some races left in himself.

It appears that the Brawn/Merc deal will be the first domino in the chain closely followed by the KR decision.

Let’s not forget though that Toyota has yet to sign off their budget, and with Bridgestone withdrawing then another team to fold could be on the Horizon .

(By the way I still think Kimi is off to the WRC)

    Cool

    Re: Glock to McLaren?

I hope he's not off to McLaren as I like the bloke.Wink  I was hoping he would end up at Renault with Kubica, they would be a good pairing I think.  On the other hand if Renault doesn't improve their car it might be in Glock's interests to go to McLaren assuming they have a decent car.  I think Hamilton and Rosberg at McLaren would be very interesting though, both these scenarios would also satisfy Mercedes who would like to have a German driver in the team.

They do owe him a drive.

Kubica and Glock would work well
