Children are multiple voting for the terrible twins every Sunday because they have *** all else to do, and have openly admitted this on the X factor site, so the whole thing is a fraud.

There should only be one vote allowed per phone number,

Kids are just treating the show like a game, and only voting for the twins because they have stupid childish fantasies about being in love with them.

The twins should be disqualified because of unfair voting, and there should be an X factor show for kids on children's TV.

If nothing is done  the twins will win and we will be the laughing stock of the music industry.

 

 

I don't think one vote per phone number would be all that easy to implement, plus, I don't think it would solve the 'problem'.

If there is an irregularity in the voting, it is hardly the twins' fault so why should they be punished for it? They are just a couple of young boys living their dream who probably can't believe their luck ... good on them I say.

The twins aren't being voted for because people 'are in love with them'. That's just a completely ridiculous statement to make.

It might well be hard to implement one vote per phone, but in this day and age I shouldn't imagine it is impossible.

And as for the twins being voted for because the teenboppers imagine themselves to be in love them, I suggest you read the infantile drivel presently being posted in support of the twins on the X factor site, with posters asking the dreadful duo to marry them or mention them in their videos, certainly there is no mention of any real singing talent, just - 'oooooh luv u 4ever, pleeeeaaase send me a text'.

The boys may be living their dream but that dream is now driving real talent out of the contest and making a mockery of the show. You only have to watch the US version of the X factor to see how it should be done, with only real talent getting through week after week.

If people want entertainment they should turn onto an entertainment show, but the X factor is about producing a star who will be able to hold their own on the international stage as a major recording artist, to be listened to - and note here that I say LISTENED TO, not SEEN - on the radio or CD, without all the props or dancers that the twins have to use every week to compensate for their appalling voices.  

I dunno about kids voting but there's more than one person said that when they voted for someone else they somehow ended up voting for the twins .. that is highly suspicious.

No, you're right, it would not be impossible to actually implement a one vote per phone line but that could and would throw up all sorts of controversy and only one person has to claim it's against their human rights and it would be scrapped.

I am neither a teenybopper nor in 'love' with J&E but if I actually voted for an act it would almost certainly be them, as a lot of people I know would.

The X-Factor is about making money first and foremost and the longer the twins stay in the more people talk about it, the more people watch, the more money it makes. It may be about finding a credible star but at the end of the day it is about findind a star the British public vate for and if the public vote for them, they are who we have to accept as our winners. And, it IS an entertainment show above all else.

it is true,lots of young children especially girls are voting for them purely becouse of looks they apeal to young girls, they certainly can't sing and there dance efforts are not too great either,it has become a joke a good singer missed there rightful place to be in the top 12 for these guys its nice they are living there dream but that ruined the dream of a properly talented person and each wk good talent is being lost due to there'entertainment' value.

One avid fan on the X factor site, who sounded about 10 years old at the most, was asked if she would vote for the twins even if they just bounced about the stage with the dancers and didn't sing a note, and she said 'yes, of course'.

This is the whole problem, the kids are infatuated and would vote for them whatever they do, so why even call it a talent contest.

I reckon the producers of the show should arrange for the dreadful duo to get a contract as co presenters of a kids programme. But they are not singers and so should no longer be in the contest.

Who will be buying/downloading the music ??

There are overs /groups/ youngers but young lads dont pick up the phone and vote for the young ladies ,groups never seem to survive, the longest being gls and that was teenage girls picking up the phone

The fact that the twins have a lot of suport from young teenage girls should be no supprise ,it would be the case in any tallent show

The producers are not daft they know where the majority of the votes are comming from so why would they want to stop it ,they are in it for veiwing figures and the money that brings

The twins entered the contest ,they did not force there way to the point they are at now,they will ride there dream to where ever it takes them and good on them ,i agree that they cannot sing and i know it is supposed to be "a singing tallent contest" but they have been the most entertaining act i have seen for a long time

The fact they are where they are is not down to them ,so they should be left to enjoy there time in the lime light

I understand your argument but feel that you have the demographic all wrong.

Of course the X factor wants to appeal to as many people as possible, no matter what age they are - 6 years old or 60 - but despite the enthusiasm of the under  14's, the teenyboppers do not have the kind of surplus income that young adults have, and so it is the 18 - 25 year olds who will be buying/downloading the most music. I know this because my children are all in the 18 - 25 year age bracket and you should check out their music collection, massive just doesn't describe it, and all their friends are the same.

And believe me, young adults in this age range will not be buying the twins music, because it is so not cool it equates with Cliff Richards.

As for the twins being entertaining, sadly when they are on radio or CD nobody will see the colourful costumes, dancers, or other props, so the entertainment factor will be lost and all that we will be left with is their lack lustre voices.

They should, however, be signed up as children's presenters on TV, where the 14's and unders can tune in daily for their fix of the twins.

I totally agree as to as to where the twins future lies but between now and then they are popular and are pulling in the cash

I was,nt implying that they are going to win and make masses from music cos it aint gona happen ,,i have said in previous posts they should be kids presenters and such like

I dont know how old you think i am but i 2 have two lads 18 and 21 so i no all about modern din

The makers of these programes are aiming mostly at teenage girls and yes there is awider audince that votes also ,,kids aged 12 have mobile phones they dont need access to a land line

And at the moment i am watching them on tv so i find them entertaining of course if they were on the radio it would not be the same but they aint on radio

This seasons x factor is diffrent due to the twins being in, infact it had it largest audiance EVER at 16million veiwers

I know the x factor tries to appeal to all age ranges ,and was only trying to say that it is mainly young teenage girls that that tend to vote ,young guys wont ,you only need to see the crounds outside the house and studio to see that

I still have to give the twins the credit they deserve they have stuck with it ,yes people will disagree but this years x factor seems a lot diffrent to any other and 16million veiwer are watching for a reason

Real talent will always out - it doesn't need the X Factor to release it.  And as we live in a highly visual age of course acts are sold on how they appear rather than just sound.

Wise up - it's a TV programme, it's not really about talent.

And there lies the problem the hoi polloi of britian take these programs far to serious ,any Real tallent will rise to the top they dont need to come first ,,its only the competative nature built in the human dna that makes people want to come first ,,lemar was put out early on ,on fame academy and is the only survior

poeple should chill ,the twins are having fun some would say at others expence but if the person has tallent it will be seen

And as for the title of the post ,for me they are brightning up what be a dull show this year with only in my opinion 3 singers that could have a short future in the music industry
