I think corrie should cast characters to fill the role of major jobs that are missing. A vicar and postman as well as a policeman would be good. How many rich business men or women have their been in the last five years? Danny, Paul, Liam, Carla, Luke, Tony. Something different would be nice.

I was just mentioning on another thread that having a vicar would be a good idea, after all Emmerdale have got a lot of mileage out of their vicar. And seeing as Emily regularly attends church why not have the vicar at her church coming into the street to visit Emily for a cup of tea, or joining her for a drink in the pub.

And yes a postman or policeman would not be out of the quesiton, or perhaps some teaching staff at Weatherfield Comp,, where Sophie, Ryan, Ben and Chesney go to school, for Waterloo Road has proved to be successful. Also what about the other staff at the medical centre where Gail works?
