    HI H,

Forget the Clubs, there's only one type of driving you will need to be doing!!

Still got Man Flu, but on the right side....  (not right as in left, but right as in wrong)  just to clarify.

Paul & Edd are travelling in Paul's mini transit, so should still get there before us, (us being team 2)

Seee you at the Team 2 meeting,,, oopps i mean speak to you soon H

    Jon

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

My first quest today was to come on here and find ALL the comments Gary got and to link them all on one page.

I've not got the time to spend as there's way too many, poor Gary, even he must have thought his team had lost before even starting.

Anyway, I forgotten the winning team.

Gary, can you remember how we got on? Did we do OK? Or did we get lost for miles and miles like suggested?

I feel shattered, just got out my pit and got Clare cooking a full English ! ! Mmmmmmm

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

The Rabbit has run and almost before it begun its now all been done, another years gone but memories will linger on of friends are all one.

We all stuck together through the rain and foul weather through vale and beyond over hills touching a tone, till the rabbit was won.

With mile after mile and with wheels that where on fire, the rabbit was found, and now it’s been put to the ground.

So until we meet again please let the memories carry on, coz another year on it will already have begun….yes the rabbit will have run...

And yes we will say…  come on bring it on!.........Cool

With thanks to Captain Jon, Craig and Gary for all their input in putting it all together and to all guys & galls for a great time…

C U in all in September

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

    Hi Guys

Thanks for all your kind words texts etc. What an amaizing trip and out of thr five events i think thas was the best, the people, the places and the the roads were all top draw, i can't thank you all enough.

The brain is going crazy with ideas for rabbit run 2009 and we do have a far few good ideas. 350 miles a day is a good distance and with what we have just done i thought day 2 and day 3 were close to perfection. looking forwards to getting stuck into the film, so on that note can we please have all your footage and good pictures.

I'm suffering a bit from holiday blues and can't believe rabbit Run 2008 is now just a memory, a good one at that though.

All the greif i gave Gary and he went and won it, i can't believe it !!!!!!!

All feedback on route for Rabbit Run 2009 very welcome, not on the forum though please e-mail.

     Regards

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

    Hello all.

We had a slight problem on the way home, which meant we couldn't say goodbye to everyone.

    Goodbye everyone!!

What an amazing few days that was. It came so slowly and went so fast (I wonder why!). Brilliant bunch of people, fantastic group of cars (Ferraris and Porsches impressive enough....but an SLR!!! WOW) and the organisers seem to be getting quite good at this....especially Gary. Got that sat nav bug sorted now obviously.

Thanks again to all concerned and I look forward to September when we can get a chance to relive it....and maybe see some bit's I can't quite remember!

    turbo boy:

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

if you get team 3 don't wory i'm sure you will be fine (you'll need more than a new sat nav) even with sat nav Gary can't find his way out of a culdesac

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mate for you to be filming the cars arriving would be a mirracle and it would deffinately be dark

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't think you have ever arrived at a destination with the sun still up

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dude One of the newbies have already said "please not team 3.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The question is which ones of you poor ********* got team 3

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Team 3 has tactics - yes - so I hear. Apparently if you all turn up at the same day your doing well

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You may as well take the rear dog cam off buddy, although may be it will get the odd shot of team 3

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

lol, had a bit of the RR blues so i was reading some old posts to cheer me up.

Still feel sad it's all over for another year, but no, wait a minute, we've got the reunion..... whooopie! !

But it's still a long time to waitSad

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

Adam, you are right, next year i will keep my mouth shut.

Wingman thanks for your kind words. When i tell people about how good the trip was you can tell some are thinking i'm talking it up, but i'm not it was top. The difficulty is following it. A few ideas on the table, but i can't stop thinking that was so good do it again but with the odd tweak and refinement

anyway the site should be updated tomorrow which should be good, will let you all know when live

    Cheers

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

Next year will come round very quick.

Ps. Some that came this year will come again next and some may not, but i think it would be good to keep people in there own teams.

ie. everyone who goes next year who came this year should go into the same team they were in this year next year...............if you know what i mean Indifferent

That's of course if the numbers work out,

Looking forward to the updated RR website, be good to see some pic's

    Catch people soon.

pps. you still got the logo across your windscreen Tony? Cool bet you have Wink
