Re: Complaints - How Jeremy speaks to people

Before I say anything else I will openly admit that I'm a huge JK fan.

I can't get my head round the amount of people moaning about the way he talks to people. He says what needs saying and gets through to people. Shouting at people is not bullying. He gets frustrated somtimes and I really don't blame him. If I had that job I don't think I could be as calm as him.

As for all the people saying that because he has had problems in his past means he shouldn't be dolling out the advice now. Are you actually thinking about what your saying? Surley having dealt with these things in the past makes him more qualified to help people.  I can't stand it when you watch these kind of programs and they just sugar coat everything. People go on the show to get help and the hear the truth, he's just doing his job.

Next I will tackle this one. JK does not decide which company sponsers ITV daytime!

I would like to admit that I have had alot of problems in my life and I am currently trying to quit my drug of choice and I find the way JK talks very inspiring.

Next ... People ring in to go on the show. Do you not see the number in the corner of the screen? He does not pick certain people to be on the show. Yes maybe he gets somthing material out of doing the show but you only have to watch to know hes doing to because he cares and wants to help people.

As for all of you saying hes not qualified he admits that most days and admits that Graham does the real work backstage.

Finally to all you people complaining why watch somthing that you do not agree with? This makes no sense what so ever

Vile? If people didnt want  his help, they wouldnt bother going on to his show in the first place! As far as shouting goes/bullying, my hubby is the army and he could tell you stories that would make your toes curl! At least Jeremy cares, most people would turn a blind eye if they knew a person(s) was in dire need of a helping/guiding hand. I like  Jeremy! GO JEREMY GO!!!

I do enjoy JK if I get the chance although I tend to agree that he is rude and arrogant.. And not even people at the bottom of the "social ladder" deserve to be spoken to like that.

Although the one thing I have always wondered is.. Are they actors, real people, or a mix of the two?

I totally agree, I watched the show today and he bullied a helpless old woman, who OBVIOUSLY had a very hard life, and made her out to be a witch! she was shaking when she left the stage. People make mistakes, life is not a bed of roses, it can be difficult. Just because she made mistakes and struggled does not give him the right to verbally abuse and humilliate her in public.

This is an ABSOLOUTE disgrace to British television. I can't believe this is what we are watching at 9.30am.

    GET HIM OFF!

jeremy kyle is not always horrible to peoploe, look at when he had those two little girls onand he was talking to their parents about their disease that they had and he had one girl on each side of him with his arms round each of them and they were loving it.

I must admit i laughed when he kissed one of the girls, tried to kiss the other but she ran away screaming.

i totaly agree with the  comment on jeremy kyle. having to hit on some painful truths that many people are just ignoring  or failing to see which effects both their work  & personal life . especialy where many people have had unplanned children . & are acting  like children themselves ..

i have always found the man is totaly to the point , &  shows a very good level of self control . where a few people in teh same job may well have cracked..

Re: Complaints - How Jeremy speaks to people

I totally agree with this,I dont really know why I continue to watch his show because he infuriates me almost every day.I agree with this blogger he IS a bully and his ego is enormous.I also get really annoyed when he constantly says this is MY SHOW,doesn't the IDIOT realise that without the people agreeing to go on the show he wouldn't have a show. I have always liked watching chat shows but I have NEVER in all the years watching them seen a chat show host shout at people the way he does, not only does he shout but he constantly belittles people, yeah some of the people on his show do need a good kick up the backside but some people need genuine help and he belittles them and insults them,I get really mad when he tells people to shut their gob or button it,who the hell does he think he is talking to people like that? I bet he wouldn't be so mouthy with some of his male guests if he didnt have the protection of the shows bouncers!!  It's time ITV stopped letting him get away with it!!

Re: Complaints - How Jeremy speaks to people

If we think back to when he first started he was alot nicer person!! He spoke nicer to his guest but i can see the change in him as time has gone by. He shouts at people who are putting their hands up and genuinly asking him for help! He does seem to be stuck up on his mighty horse of it being HIS show and his name on the wall. I think he has become rude and aguementitive! Do we even know what qualifications he has to help these people or is he just being judgmental??

Re: Complaints - How Jeremy speaks to people

If his guests didn't have the issues that they have, he wouldn't be in a job!

He's sexsist, rude, judgemental & believes he is some kind of god lording it over the rest of society. It must be nice to be so damn perfect!

I watch JK every day, what I would like to know, how come he lambasts parents for the way they bring their kids up when he himself was a gambling addict.had a broyher who was a junkie and a sister who was anorexic,I don't suppose that was anything to to with his upbringing? Also his sidekick "THE GENIUS"where was he when Gazza needed help? Also why dosn't he say anything about these uneducated types"English"and white speak like the blacks?Sorry if this sounds racist but I have worked with all races and have friends who are black and they agree with me.

    poppy-a:

I have to agree and I am pleased to see this thread, because I thought I was the only one who felt like this.

I used to think that JK was actually OK, but over the past year or so, I have really gone off the guy.  He is arrogant and obnoxious, and full of himself.  And he DOES keep saying 'This is MY show! blah blah blah,'  when it's correct that it's the producers' show; NOT HIS. He could easily get fired; he is not invincible!

Also, I think this kind of show is revolting and sickening, and I am ashamed to admit that I used to watch it regularly.  It exploits vulnerable people who are more often than not; the poorly-educated underclasses, living in social housing, who have never worked a day in the lives, and probably never will.

You never see professionals or upper working classes and above on there.  I would not go on a show like this if you paid me.  What kind of person goes on a show like this?!  Airing your dirty laundry on national tv, for all the world to see.  Is it for attention? for publicity? for the money?  What?!  I would NEVER do this!

Like I said; these are the same kind of people you see on JK.  One woman came on the JK show a few months back to accuse her best friend of STEALING from her!  How awful!

Nasty trashy show.  And OMG if I hear him talk about the fact he has three daughters, one more time, I am gonna scream!!!  YEs we GET IT Jeremy!  You have three daughters!  LOTS of people have children; it's not that special or clever to have kids!  And how wonderful for you that they are all so perfect!  Just pray that they stay that way; it would be awful for you to have to climb down off your moral high horse.

I now watch the Matthew Wright Show in Channel 5 (sorry ITV!)  It's SO much better!
