    Bacon & Eggy Bread?

I wanted to make AWT's Bacon and Eggy Bread, so I downloaded the recipe. however, the posted recipe does not say what to do with the eggs, milk or  cream.

    Can anyone help?

Shazbang you are cruel, we all have to learn.

I didn't catch the programme but the dish sounds like a variation of the famous Italian breakfast Mozzarella in Carozza which is basically a sandwich of cheese and ham in bread soaked in egg and milk then deep fried.

Personally I don't like putting milk with the egg and I've never tried using cream, but all good cooks experiment.

Here in Spain they are very touchy about their Jamon Serrano which, dare I say it, is similar to the Italian Parma ham, so they put bacon with the cheese instead.

Being English I prefer to use Cheddar cheese, I think it cooks better.

Be a devil, try all the permutations and you decide which is best.
