It was interesting to see the  way the group reacted to a grandmother and the experience of some ex members letters on the show. Dave and Cherie did not show any concern or empathy although that may just mean they are not very demonstrative.. The younger couple, Rowan and Susan seemed to me to be rude, snide and smug when talking to an ex member of another cult. Dave at one stage walked off stage. When he came back later on, he demonstrated his direction over the others. He stood in front of the younger woman and said' Its time to let them do their thing' . All four members immediately went into shutdown mode and became  uniform in their responses. amazing.

AS  a student I corresponded with the Jesus Christians and had some letters published in their magazine in the early 1990's. Although they are extreme by wordly standards, I think what people miss is that original Christianity was rather cult like to our way of thinking. Jesus told his followers to give up all their posessions and leave their families. I think the Jesus Christians are just trying to re create this in modern society and so of course look strange. They at least appeared on T.V. and subjected themselves to criticism.

I was amazed to see Rowan & Susan taking part in Wife Swap this week.  I would have thought that was the last show these sort of people would have taken part in.  What do you think?

The programme was very interesting to watch. Susan seemed to delight in upsetting Darcy - hardly a Christian attitude. Rowan found it impossible to answer a straight question!!  I would like to know in what dumpster they found their new motorhome, and exactly how does God pay for their diesel and broadband?
