    Hi Pete

If we do the pairing it will be still within the 3 teams  ie in my team i could have

    2x turbo's

    2x m3's

    2x lambo's  etc etc

    that kind of thing

Hope you all had a good new year

On the subject of teams jon i agree i think we should anounce the teams at the begining of Feb or maybe drip fead from end on jan (place 3 cars per day on the team list). I have just been offered £200 by somebody not to end up in team 3, nice way to up sell eh gary

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

I think the reliant will suite you, great for site meetings. i know the black series is owesome but if you could settle for a clk63 amg thare are a rew on the market now for early 50's. Great to be back at work, realy can not wait for rabbit run 2008, better get the turbo run in 600 miles on the clock and should do around 150 miles today

Not sure how this thing works but here we go - Dont know who you are are but i can guess i think. If you pick teams with just Porche, Ferrai etc what about us little guys?

I think it would be best to drip feed the teams!

Anyhow with you lot squabbling over who is best, pehaps just perhaps, a few of us may sneak in front of you. Besides that you don't have to have the fastest car to be the best driver!

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

well Deeppurple Turbo boy is me Craig, who are you ? I,m guessing Martyn or Paul (not saying you a liottle guys). The teams will still be a bit mixed ie if i take the porsches i will also take something else ie an RX8 or something. None of the teams will end up just being 1 brand there will be at least 2. When all the final payments are paid the the teams will be assembled. Odea (which i also quite like) is that teams will be built up of pairs (where ever possible) ie

    team 1

    2x turbo's 2x M3's 2xmercs

    team 2

    2x335i's 2x 430's 2x 997's 2x jap cars

    team 3 (the loosing team)

    2xrs4's 2xlambo's 2x997's

That kind of thing. It would be good but hard to differentiate (error) between the teams when they meet on the road, this is were the branded teams would work well

Input on this most welcome by all

    Craig

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

I think the main idea to have car teams is to work out who's on your team, just think, as soon as everyone leaves and gets 1/2 mile down the road its going to be

    Who's on my team?

Is that car with me or is it the opposition?

Do i turn left with them or go straight on with the other lot?

Let alone some 100 miles down the road.

As putting numbers or markings on cars is not possible to do, putting everyone into groups of car manufactures makes it easier to work out who's on what team.

You wouldn't want to stick ya fingers up to a team mate would you Tongue Tied

So, who is Deeppurple? Anything to do with your choice of weapon (car, before you ask)? You did ask a question and express your selves as "little boys" is this also a clue? Confused

Ps. Seen the odds and Team 4 are in with a chance this year!

As you said, car's got nothing to do with pace, it's all in the navigation, fuel stops, toilet breaks, map reading, co-pilots nerve, MacDonald drive-thru, tyre pressures and of course how quickly you can clean the windscreen every 70 miles! ! !

    Catch you all soon

    The A.M Team
