    Rabbit Run 2008

Can't waite for Rabbit Run 2008.  As the trip is over 4 day's and three nights this is a much better time away for me than the Gumball, Cannonball run or Carbon black are offering.  It is great value for money and it is really well organised! .  Apparently Turbo Boy (great name by the way) Team 2 will be the team to beat as i have heard team one could struggle on the corners!.  Also Team 3 could struggle with directions.  Have you been on the Rabbit Run site and seen the Grid ?

Glad to see Men & Motors and ITV 4 are showing Rabbit Run again this year - it p*sses over the overhyped Gumball. Looks like some seriously expensive cars are on this year's event.

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

See this is were i get confused!

    Team 1 should win this year due to having;

a team leader that's not going to drive the wrong way,

a Team leader that's not going to spend all his hours on the phone,

a team leader that's used to going over 60 MPH,

    Team 1

Could have a stealth disadvantage being mostly Porsche's but an Edd that will make up for that.

    Team 2

Is the team leader cut out for the fast pace? I know the 430's will be.

    Team 3

With a new RS4 under the belt they have a chance (if heading in the right direction of course)

Looking forward and counting down the days

    Big Smile

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

Rabbit-run 2008 is already a done deal. team 1 will win easily with team two being the only real threat. Team 3 (with Gary as the team leader) has NO chance, so if you end up in that team OOPPPS. I have seen the proposed team lists and it looks like i have a few  cannonball 8000 people in my team. It will be interesting to see how they thin it compares to a rabbit run.

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

    Forgot to add.

Are smoke screens, oil slicks and rusty nails aloud on the 2008 RR?

If not I need to take some bits back after Xmas.

(Now where did i put those receipts Embarrassed )

Guess I'll have to make do with my GPS Jammer and Team 1's secret weapon! ! ! (Mum's the word)

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

Talking of stealth - I think the Audis will prob do well on that front and they still do 180/190 mph so that could be beneficial, depends on who else they are teamed up with!! The ferrari boys stick out like a sore thumb but what lovely machines they are. Porsches....... nice but common ;-) (only joking Craig) !!!!!!!!!!!!

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

     Am I guessing right you're G.V ?

    Mmmmmmmm......................

Common? ! ? !? Compared to Audi? Wink

I'll let Craig answer that one, but i will say.......

Audi's have got a better fuel range, they're more comfortable and they have looooaaads more room and yes, stealth is a huge bonus for the Audi.

But they're not indestructible as i found out Wink

Mind you, as long as Craig can get his travel kit  in the car (bit like a womans makeup box), that's all he needs. Surprise  As long as mirrors are used and the co-pilots got his glasses on it shouldn't be a problem.

Are we still having to do the Rabbit dance moves this year, i still have a problem doing it in public Geeked

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

Hi Simon, with regards to who we all are i am sure now people are using their car numbers after a post (they refer to the numbers on the players list on the 2008 page on the site) this will help even me, never mind the newbies
