Does anyone hope LH never wins a title!??
I for one, do! the guy is unbelievable, and not in a good way. Ever since he came into F1 he's been bigging himself up, and his dads' are unbearable, that is: surrogate dad dennis, and the real one. He forgets that not many rookies have the oppurtunity to drive the best car with the reigning champion set-up. I honestly believe any talented driver;Kubica, Kovalainen, Rosberg would have been able to achieve what he did last year had they been driving the same car.
*He even had time to refer to the slower teams as "the monkey's at the back."
*He accused Alonso of trying to run him of the road at Spa, just because someone dared to challenge him.
*He ignored team orders in Hungary, yet Alonso was punished.
*He drove dangerously behind the safety car, but did anything happen?
*He held up Riakkonen at Interlagos but got away with it.
*I am sure he used an extra set of tyres once, but it was all laughed off as inexperience.
*He was driving a ferrari all season, masquerading as a Mclaren, then claimed he knew nothing about it.
Now that Kovalainen has joined Mclaren, he is looking better than Hamilton, yet ITV still hail him as some god like entity. I am an F1 fan before i follow any particular driver, but i hope Alonso joins ferrari next year. The combination of Raikkonen and Alonso should prevent Shamilton from winning anything for a good few years, and that can only be a good thing. I actually dont think he will win this year and i wouldnt be surprised if Kovalainen finishes higher. Lewis is a child, and the more he is indulged by ITV and Ron Dennis, the less he will learn.

Re: Does anyone hope LH never wins a title!??
Not sure if your original question is a little harsh. That said, I am glad he didn't win the title last year, to begin with I thought it would be character building for him not to win and help in the future, but his big headed arrogant attitude is very wearing, until that changes i.e. he grows up or something, no I don't want him to win,

Yours points on Hamilton are silly and childish. If Hamiltons deserves to win the title, then he deserves to win because presumably he has won it by being consistent and winning races? At the moment he doesnt, at this moment oddly enough only Alonso does, everyone else has messed up big time this season.
But I think Hamilton, McLaren and supporters need to take a step back and realise a phrase called delayed gratification, havng something too soon is sometimes not good, sometimes we have to wait and work hard for it and i think Hamilton needs a dose of delay gratification when it comes to F1, I think a few more mess ups would do the boy good, right now he thinks he is the come back kid and metally I do not think that is right, he has to learn about digging deep, concentrating and F1 in general isnt that easy. I want Hamilton to know he has to fight for the title not lose it, because it all became too easy.

I tell you what, Hamilton is good for F1, last time I seen so much discussion on F1, like last year or last weekends race, was Schumachers dirty tricks in the late 90's, Has F1 been discussed about this much before, its all gone crazy! And I think it is good!

Shamilton! I love it!
I had noticed that Rosberg and Kubica got themselves up into quite respectable teams a whole season before Hamilton and yet there was only Hamilton being praised as a prodigy last year. I find the whole thing quite nauseating.
Although.. I hope Ferrari sign up Kubica instead of Alonso.. that'd be the smart thing to do. The guy's incredible =]

I'd like to take your last paragraph first, because you've expressed perfectly the way I see his situation, he needs to get back to base, expect less, enjoy more, and he'll probably reap the rewards.
Some of the OP's points are perfectly valid, some not so valid, do I hope he never wins ? No I dont, he has immense talent, and I believe he works hard, does he deserve to win the title this season ? No I don't think he does, mainly for the reasons you stated so well in your last paragraph.

Re: Does anyone hope LH never wins a title!??
I think it's a little harsh to wish him to never win a title. Having said that I would like him to win it only after he and the press are brought back down to Earth. A season in a slow car 1st would be nice so hopefully people could realize that being in a competitive car does help a lot as I'm sure we all know.

Re: Does anyone hope LH never wins a title!??
I don't have such big feelings about Hamilton that I would hope that he never wins WDC. I'm Kimi fan and I just hope that he would win many WDCs..that's it. Besides it's pointless to hope something like that..I'm 95% sure that he will one day in WDC.

Even I am coming to realise this myself, and i was someone rooting for him to win it last year too. I must stress, I do not think it is right for him to be impeded or held back, if he can win a race he deserves to win it, but there is something schoolboyish in Hamiltons mentality and for the first time I picked it up in the post race qualifying conference and his pre race interview (life has been that good, you still have not grown up) He didnt even seem 23 he seemed 16.
Lauda has said Hamilton has gone worst because maybe the pressure has become too much, nothing in Hamilton statements tell me it is too much pressure, in fact I say there has not been enough pressure and just by seeming like he treats F1 like a playstation game he feels it is too easy for him. You know what, I think F1 is too easy for Hamilton, but what is not easy for him to deal with is the mess ups through the sheer arrogance of it all.
He won GP2 too quick, nearly won F1 2007 too quick, led this year too quick, and lost last year, and his led this year through silly driving unavoidable errors...Grown up Hamilton, a fan begging please!

Personally I dont want to see him win it for a loooong time, by then the press may be treating him like any other British driver and the size of his ego might have shrunk a bit which would also help.

I see the grim reaper of fleet street just behind him, ready to cut him to bits just because he`s fluffed a couple of race`s.They build them up then pull them down............................Starting to feel sorry for the lad.

Re: Does anyone hope LH never wins a title!??
Lewis did make a few mistakes last year but if the team had not made a few bad calls in the later races he would have won the championship as Kimi would have the previous year. I believe the press have hyped him up far to much and he is paying the price for it. As for all the "dirty tricks" that are going on, The FIA should enforce and fine proven culprits instead of turning a blind eye. Whoever wins deserve to win because they have done what there paid to do

LOL.
Although I am no Hamilton fan, you may have guessed that from my previous posts!, I wouldn't actually go as far as to hope he never wins one. I believe that if he wins one or more, then good luck to him in the same way as all other WDC's are deserved of their crowns.
I will say though that I believe (just a feeling that I've had for a long time, before Bahrain) that he won't win a WDC ever.
He may prove me wrong, but that's what it's all about. It would be pretty boring if we knew who had won before it even started.

Just as long as he doesnt take as long as Kimi took to win it, i would be fine.
I am watching Liverpool v Arsenal at the mo, and one thing you need is maturity no matter what. Lewis can certainly drive an F1, he has certainly got some skills, without turning boring he just needs to mature up, both with his comments and what he does on a track, especially when he only needs to scoop up a few points and not have it all.
