Raggededge I object strongly to your last comment..it's negative and uncalled for at best and at worst tantamount to racism. Such comments have no place on this or any other forum! If you can't be positive about anything then why bother??

I'm massively positive - it's not every day you find the fourth fundamental block of electronics...
Now, if all those people who spend time on wigs and stuff could get an education, they might do something more positive in their life times too...

sorry i dont agree while the spanish people at hotel, bars, cafes were great there is no way i would say that about the fans where we were sitting were anything but downright nasty. they constantly booed lewis when he got out of the car after getting p3, as two ladies on our own we felt well uncomfortable never felt like that last year they seemed quite happy to think that it was lewis that went into the fence, and while 6 other fans got up with us to applaude the thumbs up from hekki most of them stayed sitting down. a few fans left when alonso broke down but the rest stayed in our opinion just to boo lewis at the end of the race it was disgraceful, as we were sitting opposite the presentation box it far out weighed the cheers that went up from the few of us that did not support alonso and that was said by the rest of our party that was dotted around in different seats. i support a finnish driver driving for a italian team british born and bred and went with my daughter who is totally hamilton we love going to barcelona every year but both of us said we will think twice about going next year, and have already pulled out of valancia, how did it make us feel downright ***angry, we applaude all drivers that end the race safe yes even alonso we dont need this in this sport it spoilt what should have been a great weekend, but it never spolt the happiness of kimi winning or lewis third place lets hope it changes to how it used to be

Ooheer, I am just disappointed with ITV's whole cover up, however they get accused of being a hamilton frenzy media base fan, yeah right seems like they are quite the opposite!
Poor Hamilton, seems like he has to plod along and make propaganda statements on how great Spain behaved, you know somehow I never quite believed it and the truth is slowly tricklying in.

Always good to hear the ground truth... some people are so ready to believe the world is ideal, like the people who think Kimi won a geninue WDC in 2007...
And the FIA / Ferrari witch hunt against McLaren was perfectly legit...
Like I said earlier, never turn your back on entities like the FIA or major sections of the Spanish fans...

Why don't you help us and bring some reason why to believe otherwise? Why do you just make claims after claims without bringing anything to support them and then just ignore counter arguments?

When abuse passes certain thresh hold you can bet people will expose the underbelly of the FIA...
Max has been exposed for what he is...
It's only a question of time before the mysterious forces of truth reveal the other secrets of how the FIA operated between 2005 to 2007...
I must congratulate these forces on the job they did on Max... good work people... go get the rest of these crooks...
Be patient, you will get your truth, but in the meantime, feel free to disprove any one of my claims...

So far ther haven't been any need to disprove any of your claims since you haven't provided any reason why anyone should believe in them in first place.

LOL - not the most difficult thing to do!! You told it how you knew it, nothing wrong with that.
As said before I think most F1 fans are very decent people (though I'd still put rally fans at the top of the decency league, great bunch of folk!). The only time I've ever come face to face with real nastiness was during the Mansell Mania years (not Nigel's fault obviously) when a large number of 'fair weather fans' were attracted to F1. I didn't mind the stick that I took for supporting a Brazilian driver (either Piquet or Senna), I can dish it out with the best of them!! Anyway, my mum was Brazilian so I'm allowed!! . What I didn't like was the joy taken in other drivers misfortunes - showed a great lack of understanding of anything to do with motor racing. I suspect some similar 'fans' are probably being drawn by the Alonso effect in Spain.
There are rotten people everywhere but it's only a few, the vast majority of motor racing fans are great!

Thanks and guess you F.A fan so hope if you go to Silverstone us British offer you the same degree of friendship, I'm certain I will.
Still I suspect RE can still find something negative to say.

God, I really can't believe some of the racist, bigoted crap written on here. Let's be clear about something here: The Spanish fans are no better or worse than any other set of supporters around the globe. I've been to many races over the years and have seen nastiness from several sets of fans, many of whom were not (shock!) even remotely Spanish. There are hundreds of thousands of people at a given race so it stands to reason that there are going to be some great people there along with some complete and utter ***** (insert bad word of your choice). It's simply the luck of the draw who you are next to. Bad behavior at races is not a new thing and references to 'how it used to be' are pointless because this is how it used to be, or at least how it has been for a very long time. As for references to an 'itv cover-up', well that is just absurd. If there were indeed racist banners at the race and itv chose not to show them in their coverage, then so what? I personally tune in to watch a formula one race, not to see the uglier side of human nature, and have no desire to do so. For years at football matches sound recording has been diverted away from areas where racist or other offensive songs are being sung in order that they are not picked up on the tele, so it's hardly a new policy as far as I can tell. Why give these idiots the attention they crave by broadcasting them to a worldwide audience?

I was also at the Spanish gp, and would like to echo the comments made by hamiltonwillwin.
I was sat in Tribuna F, at the end of the straight, among fans of all nationalities...including British, Spanish, French and Polish who all chatted and got on well together. Bar an occasional noise when Lewis drove out of the pits, I personally didnt witness any negativity towards him, or see any banners etc. I'm not saying there was none at all, but having walked round half the track, I saw/heard nothing!!
I felt the atmosphere each day was fantastic, even moreso on race day.
And as for the comments from the woman who didnt feel safe at the circuit and wouldnt return...I was at the race with my parents, and myself and another female friend are already planning possibly go together next year!
