Thanks champalonso perhaps you was one of the guys behind who we shared beers with!! mind you your english is better. I just felt it was right to say after all negative press Spain had recieved.

LOL If only, mate!  No I wasn't there. it's just so nice to hear someone with something positive to say!  And I may be Alonso fan but I'm British.Smile

Racists and other forms of terror hate groups are present in all countries... that's a fact of human nature... I can never be positive about terrorists in all their guises...

And this has exactly what to do with origional thread?

"Thanks to Spain" - we have witnessed more hate-ism...

It maybe hot, it maybe sunny, but it is a hateful place!

....which I'm betting that you have never even visited.  You're basing your analysis of a country of forty million people on a very small minority of people on raceday, probably numbering in the dozens, a couple of hundred at the outside.  That minority is no more representative of the Spanish population than the English football hooligans whom run amok every world cup are of the English as a people or the NDP in Germany are to the Germans, so why don't you stop spouting this xenophobic crap.

We are talking about the hate-ism from the Spanish F1 fan - we would talk about the hate-ism of the british football fan, if we were in a football forum of some sort... Spanish F1 fans take the honors for the most lavish demonstration of hate out of all the countries I've seen so far that host F1 races... that's a fact...

    Re: Thanks to Spain

Speaking as a British person I think that there is more hate among British people than most others. Look at the news this morning - a 16yr old boy killed for defending a shopkeeper - so it's about time British people stopped being so smug and acting like they know best all the time.

The suggestion that terrorism is in some way linked to the Spanish people is a sick idea.  I can only assume that these people have forgotten the Madrid bombings.  The "war on terror" is being fought by the USA - remember "operation shock and awe" and the UK.  Doesn't that give us a lot to be proud of?

I can't decide whether your levels of comprehension are as low as they appear or if you are being deliberately obtuse.  The point was that you cannot claim that a whole country is hateful based on the actions of a very small minority.  The hooligan/NDP comments were included simply as examples to illustrate that fact.  Simple enough now?
