    Super Aguri..

Just like to say it is a huge loss for the sport, the little teams are just as important as the so called "big" teams, Aguri Suzuki for me was a good leader, for that team. Unfortunately money problems have led them to quit.

I hope that someday in the future we may see him on the grid again.

Think most of you will agree with me to say the best wishes to the people who worked so hard for Super Aguri.

I second that Roomey, very sorry to hear the news.  All the best for the team personnel.

Totally agree this is a sad loss to the grid.  It seems to me that the FIA prize money could be spent helping "back of the grid teams".  Ferrari, Maclaren and the front runners are all big budget teams and then get a hefty payout from the FIA.  I accept that the money is a prize and reward for putting together a championship winning car, but more needs to be done to stop thes small taems falling off the back of the grid.

    Re: Super Aguri..

Just read the report that the team has gone into administration and the quote that there has been substantial interest in buying the team as a package.  Where the dickens were these people when re-financing was needed or is it going to be like a pack of deranged bargain hunters at the January sales, after something as cheap as they can get it.

If they are that interested they should have put their money where their mouth is earlier and not try to pick the meat off the bones like a pack of hyenas.  (Me now dismounting from my soap box) Wink

There is a difference between sponsoring a team and owning a team. I still don't think that a new owner will have it easy, though. They will not have a customer car, and I would not think that the team will automatically get the FIA's licence to race next year.
