    Barrichello

I wonder if Barrichello's position will be under threat as soon as the team have benefited from the '257 races' publicity, and all the dust has settled. I like the guy, but he must surely be starting to question his motivation for continuing...

A random thought, but is he now the only driver remaining on the grid that raced alongside Senna?

I believe he'll finish out the season with Honda, but as far as i know his contract is up this year and I don't imagine it being renewed

Makes me also think that Sato's career might not be quite over yet

Yes, I think he is the only one remaining from that eraSad

    Re: Barrichello

    To be honest.

I thought DC had as well.

    Correct me if i'm wrong.

    Foolish youth.

    :)

But Barrichello, great person, quality character to have in the pitlane still.

    Motivation for continuing?

Not being harsh here mate, but read his recent storys.

He is in love with f1 still and still has the same motivation.

I think people like him, DC, fisi are needed in the pitlane.

No, I believe DC took the seat as a rooky following Ayrton's tragic accident.

Yeah, he'd be great as a commentator.

You are kidding me right? A seat as a rookie in Williams and McLaren and the most he could win in the end 14 years as an F1 driver is a trophy on Mr and Mrs (and his chick wore the pants if you would ask me) Big Smile. DC the commentary box is beggining for you, give up your seat to fresher legs lolol

I pray to GOODNESS Hamilton's career does NOT end like thisIck!

No, I'm not kiddingStick out tongue

DC has been with only 3 teams since his debut in F1, Williams was his first (for 2 years), 9 years with McLaren and now coming up 5 years with RBR.

I should imagine his trophy cabinet is pretty full compared to some.Big Smile

As for the major trophy? That diamond studded clock must be as high as it gets for DC! Surely DC must be the longest serving driving in McLaren and no WDC to show for it...phhfff!

For someone that obviously does not have a lot of time for DC, you seem to end up talking about him an awful lot.  You claimed that the Mr and Mrs show was a bad move and it would be awful, but you obviously watched it.

     Methinks he protests too much!

Anyway, back to the subject as someone else has said.  Good luck to Barrichello - I for one would be sorry to see him go.

RB is one of the best of the good guys and a much better driver than many give him credit for.  I often wonder what would have happened if he'd been in a different team at a different time......

His mistake was becoming Schumachers roll over puppy, poor ***! thank goodness Schumachers gone eh, we can drop these FIA rules and say good riddance to the number one or two drivers status, none are needed anymore!
