1, it was a sponsorship public event, they guy will laugh about it years to come!
END OFF SIMPLE AS!
Laugh about it for years to come ? are you so sure ? I'd suggest you do a little more research, in his own words Hamilton has said...
"Let's forget about that," he told reporters at Istanbul Park on Friday. "Afterwards I thought, 'That really was not cool'.

"I just turned up and got on with what I'd been told to do. Now I've seen the footage and it's one of the worst things I've seen.
"I have a cool image and things like that don't help," Hamilton said (My Bold, for emphasis)
Hours earlier, he'd said "It was a pretty cool thing to do"
He contradicts himself once more...
Do you understand the definition of the day after or years to come?

Much better than you understand the definition of Q3 apparently, are you missing the point here ?
He stated it was a cool thing to do, then when it became apparent that the world at alrge were laughing at him, and thinking it was pretty "un" cool, he changed tack, same old same old, consistently inconsistent.
The sooner he learns to speak less, the better for his career, at least until he's either matured enough, or realised that the public at large are able to spot when something/someone is not neccessarily all it/they appear to be.

You know what, when it comes to Hamilton YOU LOT take every word, every remark, every fart to literal, and LITERALLY have a humour bypass when the guy tells a joke. However, it is my firm belief that when you do not like a person, and the person you dislike tells a joke, tries to be funny, joke intended comes out offensive, serious or looked upon negatively. To me the guy is having a laugh about it already (shows he can take things on the chin....and he has a mighty one so he should do), to you he is actually saying he has TRULY damaged his cool image by being in that strap thingy! Bar LLCOOLJ, black people dont go around saying I am cool, they tend to ooz it natural with their coordination skills....and boy didnt he show that today on those hard tyres!
Serious guys, chill out, your like a pack of hyenas LOLOL

Re: Hamilton flying in Turkey
Having now seen the Greek god in action all I can say is "Keep it up Lewis!" He gave us a good laugh and even if he doesn't win the WDC he'll win a comedy award! Shame he didn't intend it to be so funny LOLOL

You know what, there are so funny pictures about. Someone gave him wings, williams guy in the back ground looking cool, put his dad in a truck whilst giving up a crane lift....pretty funny stuff and certainly not cool lol

Re: Hamilton flying in Turkey
We know he looked a twit and he knows he looked a twit!
I'd lay money that even when his career finishes and they do the 'career highlights' compilation we're going to see him dangling there like a wally!
F1 needs more of this - it takes itself way too seriously and a bit of light relief gives everyone something to laugh about. Actually, at the end of the season I'd like to see a 'fly past' of all the drivers..........

Re: Hamilton flying in Turkey
mo1965:
Stigga I agree with you.
Athought, I am not sure if Hamilton sometimes understand what he is saying. I think years of life at Mclaren has had its benefits, but unfortunately has taken away that element of social skill or likeability factor (for me).
For example in his own words:
"I just turned up and got on with what I'd been told to do. Now I've seen the footage and it's one of the worst things I've seen.
He could have easily said "it was wrong or he has made a mistake" but in the first part of his comment he blamed it on someone else made him do it, and at the end he suggested "the worst things I've seen". sounds like someone else had done it!
I am really not a Hamilton basher, I just can't have a positive feeling towards him, despite being a Mclaren fan.

That's a very interesting take on the matter, dare I say that blaming someone else for something would seem to fit with what I've seen of his character so far ? Yes i would, last season wasn't everything Alonso's fault ? He accepted no blame whatsoever for all of the grief that went on within the team, Despite the shenannigans in Hungary.

I dont remember him telling any jokes, care to remind me ? Far from being able to "take it on the chin", as you might have seen from a previous post in this thread, he actually attempts to lay the blame at someone elses door, "I just turned up and did what I was told", not the first time is it that nothings been his fault, like most of last season for example.
I'll ignore your comments stereotyping black people, I found them offensive.

You wouldnt remember Hamilton telling a joke, because you had a humour bypass on his joke about keeping his cool image and mine on black people (WAKEY WAKEY... When you dont like someone a bit of humour does appear offensive or arrognant, so in all my point has been proven lol

You've proven absolutely nothing, other than perhaps you think that using bold makes your point more relevant/factual/easier to grasp, it doesn't, it's a sign of desperation. Now, once again, remind me of the joke, or are you it ?

If quoting factual information makes me a bully, then I suppose I must be eh, as for what anyone needs to prove, you still haven't proved that Hamilton cracked a joke, can you not find it ?. Or is it just more rubbish that you're unable to substantiate ?
