    Hamilton today....

...was very, very good I thought.  There was something about his drive today that I have not seen from him before, despite his race wins.   I felt that he 'out-drove the car' throughout the race and at one point when he was catching Massa (yeah, I know he was lighter) I had a strong sense of "I've seen this before".  On that previous occasion a young German bloke in a Benetton was reeling in a Williams.   This is not to say that I believe that Lewis will become as great as Michael, but the aforementioned feeling, a certain deja vu whilst watching was quite strong.  Hopefully (as a Kimi fan) it's a one off and he'll be back to selecting the wrong engine map next race.  Big Smile

Despite afew bad races lately, he did brilliantly. What i like so much about lewis is that he never gives up. Lewis is on the up and mclaren have the upper hand in the Monaco and Montreal circuit so im looking forward to those races. Smile

Dont worry, time Monaco comes, you will be saying just that!!

Hamilton drove out of the cars abilities, he was hard on himself yesterday until he realised people absolutely enjoyed his qualifying lap and no one expected the McLarens to do that, I was expecting a Ferrari one/two finish to be honest!

Hamiltons drive is what makes a driver, not cruise control because you lose your skills and become weak (one needs a constant challenge) though it is a luxury postion to be in. When you drive like this you start believing in yourself , others also do too. Pushing the car like that makes a driver stronger and pushes the boundaires and limits for another day to capitalize on. If Hamilton can take that performance of a life time today to monaco there is no stopping him...as long as he keeps humble!

How about this, Kimi and Hamilton with a perfect set up for monaco on the front row of the grid...mouth watering or what?

And where is RE, he must have wet his pants today!!
