Re: Kimi's lackluster performance...what happened?
awshucks:I seem to be missing some logic here. I am positive Kimi stopped twice in the Pits, If there had been any hint of a problem with his front wing they would have changed it so no blame what so ever can be placed there. He may just have had a hangover....only kidding
if u listened than you should know kimi decided not to replace the wing, you will know what i mean if you have ever seen how long it takes to change one, lol, which means it shows how strong kimi really is....hail ferrari

Re: Kimi's lackluster performance...what happened?
I would like to point out that I am a Kimi fan and am not having a dig at him although i was disappointed when he climbed into a red car.. The fact they did not change his wing proves it was not an issue.

no it means kimi woulda been 4th not 3rd,so yes it was an issue, but if kimi was 4th it woulda been more of an issue,so you simply dont change the front wing and go for a podium daa and you say your kimi fan but dissapointed he at ferrari????? well you have a big problem then!!! how you mannage to be kimi fan but not a ferrari fan?? feel bad for you, must be confusing

Well Kimi came down the outside of Heikki, if he was going to pull such an audacious move he should have made sure he had the right grip and acceleration. and Hekki was boxed in by Kimi and Kubica, poor *** had no where to go!

the damage wasn't severe enough to justify losing a bucket load of time with a nose change but it was enough that he had to adapt his driving. All in all stellar performances from all top three runners. Gotta say though. Macca might be a little worried at the mo. When Raikkonen was on the softs infront of Hamilton (just b4 final stops) He comfortably held the 2 sec gap (with damaged front wing) the only time the gap shrank lower than that was when Kimi hit traffic. When the tyre scenario was reversed for them Kimi was all over the back of the Macca. It kinda tells us that the ferrari has a lot more in its package than the Macca. Also, regarding the next race, in the slower tight sectors of the last two races the ferrari has been faster than the Macca. Does this mean Macca won't enjoy its traditional superiority in Monaco? What ever happens you can be sure Lewis will ring the cars neck and geet it around in good time. As will Kimi and Massa, although Massa is really weak at Monaco. Great race today. Some dicing between cars that hasn't been seen in F1 for Decades. More of the same please Bernie.

kimi wasn't any were near the outside of Hek. He wend down the indide and there was space till Hek put on a big squeez. Which he is entitled to do, but if he hadn't he probably would have gotten 4th. It was clearly Hek's fault for the contact as he squeezed Kimi and misjudged the how much to squeez. But as kimi said its just a racing incident.

Cant wait to see what the Ferrari upgrades they did throughout the year for Monaco will do.

Re: Kimi's lackluster performance...what happened?
shumacher world n01:it wasn`t a case of mclaren avin a good day, more like ferrari having a not so good day (except massa of course). ferrari win 4 straight races, 2 back to back 1-2s,hamilton comes second in istanbul and mclaren declare there back in the hunt what a load of crapp. yeah mclarens soooo great that they were forced into the 3 stopper because bridgestone advised them their great car would not handle the tyres on a normal 2 stopper, i`d still put money on mclaren not winning another race this year unless it`s another of tho`s wacky races like australia.well done kimi for adapting his driving style in responce to the damaged wing, unlike lewis 3rd race in, TRYING to drive with damaged aero parts..... think the mighty reds are gonna wrap up the constructors half way through the season the rate their going!!!! hail ferrari. cant wait for monaco
Bet you can't wait for Monaco when you see Lewis driving off in the distance whilst Massa is probably in the wall.
Possibly the most biased thread ever. Espeically when you have a name like Schumacher World no1.
And please inform me how Mclaren are not back in the hunt?
He did an extra top on top of Kimi's and still finishes second.

oh roomy do stop tormenting yourself,we all know lewis goes backward, not forward.i saw lewis lastnite declaring himself the fastest in monaco, although he`s never won there before and this is gonna be only his second time at the circuit in f1,lol.what an ignorant, niave little man he is,though`s sorta comments are way outta his leauge lol

Re: Kimi's lackluster performance...what happened?

Any explanation why Kimi was limp today? He had no issues bar a few mistakes in qualifying, what happened there then?
Before the first pits, his car seemed fine and made up ground on Kubica, after that he kind of fell away. Did he have one of his famous " I dont care" moments?
Looking at Massa's car and drive, Kimi's time he made up on Kubica, and the superior car of Ferrari on the whole, how can Kimi explain such an unnescessary drive? I dont think Schumacher would have performed like that if he was in Kimi's seat today. I acknowledge 3rd place is still a good position, but he was in a postion to hussle Hamilton a little more and try and stop Massa's dominance in Istanbul....that is his job!
Lets hope he comes back at Monaco!
It was classic Kimi hitting the lows of his peak/valley performances... mistakes in qualifying led to mistakes in the race...
Ferrari have a real problem on their hands now... the faster driver Massa, is beating their star signing... ooops!

You're not a true MS fan, if you seriously think Kimi is a worthy replacement...
Hamilton was the right man for Schumacher's job at Ferrari, but hindsight is a wonderful thing...

No Alonso should have been Schumachers natural successor.
