Did he gain an advantage by doing so and on which lap was this? If it was at the end, he then gave back the lead before retaking it.

I thought it was ok to cut the chicane unless you gained a place and if you did you have to give it back or then get a punishment?

I see its confirmed now. What an absolute joke, but not a funny one! what did he do? nothing! funny how Ferrari dont get any penalty! never mind Kim shoved him off the track!

Yet again the FIA panalise Mclaren, Im disgusted, the best guy won on the day and yet again here we go!

any reason given? no? ah dont worry ... Im sure they can make somthing up if they sit in that room with their glasses of port for long enough

That is an absolute disgrace and I would very much like to see their judgement and how they came to that decision.  I cannot start to articulate what I really think so won't even try as it will be sensored.  How to ruin what was the best race of the season.  the FIA stand open to be accused of bias

    Not driving a red car!!!

this has to be the worst decision ive ever seen not just in F1 but in world sport, he was rammed off the track by raikonnen and had no choice.

I was thinking earlier on about the whole FIA being on ferrari side and was dismissing it, this has changed my opinion now, theres something deffinately going on.

If anything id have thought raikonen would have been penalised for ramming him but oh no he drives a red car!!!

     very dissapointed

Re: Hamilton Penalised, Massa Give Win

This is an absolute outrage, and just goes to prove how much influence ferrari have. why did Massa get a fine and Lewis get a 25 second penalty? and why 25 seconds?? to make him third!! I hope that someone does something about this bias. With all the things Schu did without penalty, how can this be the right? This is not racing, its politics. What is the point of watching?

Re: Hamilton Penalised, Massa Give Win

Not for cutting the chicane but for weaving left/right off the racing line more than once on the main straight

I don't think Racing is aloud anymore in Formula One mate. I think it seriously needs looking at making another series without the FIA. Can I have some agreement.. just some agreement.. that they seem to get some favouritism towards themselves??

Re: Hamilton Penalised, Massa Give Win

I know this is only my opinion and from the viewpoint of an ordinary TV viewer but I couldn't see much wrong with how Hamilton backed off to allow Kimi to retake the advantage before passing him again.

Ferrari seems to have far too much of an influence on the officials of F1 and this sometimes becomes blatently obvious.  Fairness please.
