Let's get the facts right.
1) Raikkonen and Hamilton were side by side going into the chicane.
2) Raikkonen pushed Hamilton wide.Hamilton had to take the escape road.
3) Hamilton lifted off the throttle to let Raikkonen go by - he lost 6km on the straight by doing this.He lost, not gained momentum by doing this.Had he been able to tuck in behind Raikkonen and slipstream him,he would have been MUCH faster on the straight, and probably gone by before the next corner.
4) His overtaking Raikkonen was caused by the Ferrari swopping ends under braking, and Hamilton out braking him despite his LOST momentum on the straight, and was caused by the Ferrari's instability in the wet.
5) Raikkonen gained an unfair advantageby putting FOUR wheels off the track and gaining increased traction to slingshot past.
We need someone to save the sport from the FIA. Look at the last laps of the French GP in 1979 on YouTube when men could race.
