    Who is the funniest character?

i think blanche is priceless and her scripts are so well written - it is great to see one of the more senior cast members getting the funny one liners and put downs

I would say Betsy and Rita and of course that saucy one Blanche as well as Becky sometimes comes up.  Funny I don't find any of the guys particularly funny although Jack in his time a real gaffer.Big Smile

Although once in a blue moon surprisingly it it Emily too!

I do think Blanche is fabulous, but surely Auntie Pam is queen of the funnies at the mo. She makes me laugh a lot and brings well needed comedy to the street. Keep it u writers.

I loved it the other week when she was giving Simon the truth about Postman Pat. I was laughing over that for ages.

Eileen Grimshaw, hands down. Shea wonderful way of saying the things you're thinking in such a knock-down way as would make a grown man weep (poor Jason and Steve). I was watching Corrie with my boyfriend and he's not a regular viewer but Eileen had him giggling too.

I loved it when they were in the restaurant under the pretence of having the wedding reception there.  I laughed my socks off when she said that Tyrone was a two-timing love-rat with someone at the abattoir in a posh accent. It took me half an hour to finish my coffee after that.
