Re: FA CUP Everton v Liverpool

    Hi,

I'd like to explain that it wasn't a technicial fault. I pushed the wrong button whilst Townsend was bumming me. I thought you guys deserved the truth. I will be resigning and killing myself with immediate effect but not before I set David Pleat on fire.

    Apologies again.

    Sincerely

    Steve Ryder

Re: FA CUP Everton v Liverpool

this just cracks me up so much, only ITV could do such a thing. to sit through 117 minutes of football and miss the only goal and what a goal it was from gosling i must say, just goes to show how the FA got it wrong once again by giving rights to ITV and setanta for the F.A. Cup.

This is just going to ruin the magic of the F.A. Cup if us viewers are not allowed to see the goals!.

They wil keep apologising but the fact is an apology wil never make up for what they done, they have cut off before during games especially for the champions league and they got lucky as we didn't miss much at the time.

one things for sure, the BBC and SKY SPORTS wud never do such a thing, give up ITV, your an embarassment!

Re: FA CUP Everton v Liverpool

    thank you itv

my doctor told me to avoid too much excitement, and you have saved my life by cutting out the only goal and replacing it with a nice advert.

this is much better than Radio 5 live.  they don't have adverts so can be quite exciting.

     Eight words:

ITV COULDN'T COVER A HOLE IN THE ROAD!!!!

Was its just London or national? Three minutes to go, live or death stuff and the match cuts to a F=====g ad break... I shout at my son who pleads innocence, 90 sec later some arse at ITV pressses a button and we're back live... lots of blue shirts celebrating a goal.

Incompetence.... dont let them near the F A Cup again, or God help us, England in the World Cup...

Big hand for ITV's decision to air an advert after 27 mins of the 2nd half of extra time.  After watching nearly 3 hrs of football, we all mised the Eveton goal.  Outstanding!

What a bunch of morons that run itv sport not only incapable of airing a complete football match and missing the only goal, they surpass their complete and utter uselessness by telling us the ***results of the other matches, further ruining my enjoyment totally for the rest of the evening. You bunch of hapless idiots, get back to doing what you do best by producing rubbish tv and leave the sport to the professionals on BBC.You really are a bunch of  ***. I wouldnt trust you to walk my dogs, I think i will get that dish after all.you *** ***.

Re: FA CUP Everton v Liverpool

Pathetic ITV, nearly caused a riot in the pub with the landlord strenuously declaring his innocence. In a previous round we had the whole cup tie watched with smudged lenses and now we get to the more critical end of the competition and you *** up the coverage with the inane advert.

F1 was similarly trashed with adverts.

I trust the FA takes this into consideration when renewing the franchise. ITV coverage is notoriously under par and now you have raised the incompetency bar even higher.

All sports associations, please just don't take the highest bidder, consider the quality of the product. ITV should be ashamed at their standards. No apology on their website I see.

    Re: Shocking

    ITV you complete morons.

Maybe they all thought the advert would be more entertaining and for the previous 100 or so minutes I would have to agree, but they may as well have let the torture run for another 5 minutes, so we could actually see the only excitement during the whole game.
    Morons!
Like one of the posters to the forum suggested here, the idiots at ITV are probably not capable of reading a forum, so in case they can just about manage email I suggest you all send your concerns to [insert advert break here....]

Oh sorry if you missed it, the email address is... viewerservices@itv.com

That news reader after the match "..and if you missed the match?" He's having a giggle isn't he?

Re: FA CUP Everton v Liverpool

Shocking. ITV coverage of football has never been any good, but this is just a new low. How can you show an advert during the only goal of a 2 hour game. Bring the FA cup back to the BBC!!!
