I can't imagine how people cannot be affected by this credit crunch.  Even people with money are affected, they still have to udget according to their financial situations and, don't you think, we all live up to our incomes.  Richer people may well have bigger mortgages, others may have re-mortgaged thinking they can cope.  This awful time has affected everyone but really, not always for the worse.  People seem to be pulling more together and I have found that people are so keen to get back to basics this Christmas.  It's often more of a burdon trying to give presents that are extremely expensive but no one wants to feel like scrooge.  We all now have a great excuse to be creative and most people will understand. (I've received loads of hand made Christmas cards which is so special).

yes i agree everyone must be suffering still we have no choice but to keep going and vote for the right party next time as this government has bought us to Bankruptcy ..

Anyone who says they have not been affected by the finanical crisis must be lying. Some of the middle class are now shopping in Lidl, instead of Marks and Sparks.

 We know there is a real credit crunch when fashion starts to suffer! Mulberry sales have dropped by 12% since the economy trouble started and now Miss Sixty and USC have gone under! Because I've stopped shopping there lol!

I can't honestly say I'm feeling it, my mortgage has gone down considerably in the last few months, and the cost of petrol has dropped like a stone.  I have more money available to me now, than seemed likely around six months ago, and I still haven't had a payrise yet.  Yes energy prices are still high, but that has been more than offset by the drop in the mortgage rates, so I really am not feeling it at the moment

People who have fixed income jobs ahve the same income as before.

I am a teacher and my pay hasn't changed, but my mortgate payments are down, prices are mostly down - energy prices are offset by lower prices elsewhere.

I used to struggle to keep out of the red, now I am saving money. 

I think the credit crunch has affected the majority of people, especially those with credit cards. Apparently, credit card delinquencies rose to a record high last month as the recession weakened consumer’s finances. Payment at least 60 days late increased, and people now have to take out loans to avoid bankruptcy, to pay off their debts.

It’s a vicious circle
