ITV has confirmed that the cast will be jetting off to Africa to film the 5th series of the show at the beginning of June. The series is estimated to be 8 episodes in length however it could be longer. It has also been suggested that the series will air from February 2010. In a recent statement, a member speaking on behalf of ITV said that the cast and crew responsible for Wild at Heart are not planning for this to be the last series and, in fact, hope that many more will air.

OMG That has made my weekend even more! I seen Stephen Tompkinson yesterday in the play called "Sign Of The Times" and he was awesome but now to hear that there is a 5th series and possibly more

OMG I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo HAPPY! I knew there would be a series 5, but MANY more?! that has just made me extatic!!! I would LOVE it if Rosie and Max came back but I guess it depends on what Lucy-Jo decides to do.
