The sad plight of all the broken hearted wannabees, coupled with my admiration for someone who was Truly talented, (Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong) not just ambitious, like many of the BGT contestants, inspired me to pen the following limerick.

There once was a bright young musician

To emulate Satch, his ambition

On "Britain's Got Talent"

They told him "you haven't"

Now a sign on his door says "Gone Fishin' "
