I’ve been thinking again.

I can’t help noticing certain similarities in Helen and Claudia

 

And I can’t help wondering why Helen saves Claudia in Series 1 ep. 5….

 

I just wondered if Helen and Claudia could originally have been sisters????

 

When Helen comes back to save Claudia in that episode it’s a very sisterly action, and she and Claudia have this kind of sibling rivalry going on, as well as fighting over Nick.

 

Suppose Nick had originally been married / going out with Claudia and then jealous big sister Helen went back, changed the past and when she returned things were different. Claudia had been adopted by the Browns and Nick was married to Helen…

 

Perhaps that’s why Helen could abandon her "marriage" so easily for 8 years and go wandering?

 

Could they have been sisters originally in an original timeline we never got to see?

 

Maybe THAT’S what’s in Helens notebook….???

 

What do we think? Wouldn’t that be an interesting twist?

Yeh it would be a brill twist! It would really add to the claudia/jenny mystery and why helen disappeared for 8 yrs.

wow that would be amzing  that would also bring up a possible way to bring claudia back :)

Intresting theory, but I doubt the writers would have come up with such a storyline in series 4. More likely that they closed the book on Claudia/Jenny entirely.

It would be a really interesting idea and if Lucy Brown came back it would be brill! MAybe Claudia and Jenny could meet somehow and they reach out and by touching they change everything completely

That actually makes a lot of sense. It certainly fits with Helen's machiavellian character!

Perhaps Claudia kept having premonitions about the anamolies because she had an inkling of what big sister Helen was up to...

That's true, but maybe if Helen changed the past, Claudia could have been adopted or separated from her sister so she would appear to be an only child and grow up thinking she was an only child...

Perhaps Helen stayed with their father and Claudia with her mother or something like that, so she never knew she had a sister....?

It's interesting that the writers / creators chose to tell us that Claudia was an only child in the backgrounds to the characters, they don't mention it with anyone else do they? Why did they emphasise it for Claudia only?

Helen was the original and Claudia was a copy (hence they don't look identical)

But maybe that's too weird...

Oh no! That would mean that Nick fell for Helen twice! He marries Helen then falls for Claudia the Clone of Helen!?!! Lol. Poor Nick....Quite an intriguing possibility though...and brings in the whole Clone thing again...

But I think I'll stick to the Sisters theory...

Claudia always seemed very scared of the anomalies and very angry with Helen didn’t she? Right from the start…

 

And even before she got to know Nick well she was very protective of him…remember in Series 1 ep.1 she says to Ryan “WHATEVER else happens, bring him back”

 

If the Sisters theory is correct, and Claudia was married to Nick in a previous timeline…is that why she felt a link to Nick from the start ? Just like Jenny did?

 

I kind of like the idea that, however many times anyone messes with the past, Nick and Claudia/Jenny are always destined to meet….
