    "Chas, Paddy & Carl"

I really DID NOT think that Carl would have the courage to face Paddy and tell him about himself  and Chas. Well, he certainly did AND got punched in the face in the process!!!! Then, of course, the cat was well and truly out-of-the-bag!! Chas has now decided to give it another try with Carl but what about her son Aaron, he really detests Carl because he hurt his Mum before and the relationship ended badly. It's clear that Chas and Carl get on very well and love each other, so maybe they SHOULD be together. Also, Chas gets on well with Carl's children, so it's up to Carl to reassure Aaron and talk him around to his way of thinking.

What do you all think about Chas & Carl's relationship? Care to comment? Many Thanks!!

IMO I think that they are both flawed characters that deserve each other, as they can certainly both manage to "spoil another couple". They have the look to me of one of those fiery couples who wont last forever anyway.

I agree.  Chas and Carl together are saving 2 other people.

Lately I find it hard to look at Chas without shuddering.  What a slapper!  And she's certainly looking (and sounding) the part. Sleazy, squalid, crude nasal voice.  Yuck.

I think that Chas and Carl should be together, and since they broke up the last time I've been waiting for them to get back together again. As a couple they have brilliant chemistry and I just hope that they're allowed to last this time. I think Lucy's acting is brilliant at the moment, with her being worried about her son and taking it out on Carl, who doesn't seem to care.

They do love each other though, which is nice to see in soapland, seeing as normally people are only together because one of them is rich and going to die soon! Let's just hope that Carl bucks up his ideas and realises that Chas does care about Aaron and he is part of her. It'd be nice to see him talking to him and reassuring him. but with the way Carl is at the moment it's unlikely.

I hope that Aaron and Paddy continue to be good friends though, because I'd hate to see that lost because Chas made a mistake and Carl broadcast it.

A mistake is what you make when you add up a column of figures wrongly, or knock over a cup of tea.  What Chas did was way beyond a mistake.

I don't think Carl is capable of really loving anyone but I do agree he has a definite affinity with the vixen faced Chas.  Lucy's acting has been superb and my heart really goes out to Aaron.  What a mess.

    Mistake [noun]:
    1. an error in action, calculation, opinion, or judgment caused by poor reasoning, carelessness, insufficient knowledge, etc.
    2. a misunderstanding or misconception.

Chas' action was definately a mistake!

To start off with Carl was much nicer and more like Jimmy is now, which is a side of him I'd like to see return on the future. At least, that's the way I remember him, lol.

    Hi Herne,

The much easier way is just to click on the smiley face on the border which appears above your message as you type your post, you then get a pop up menu of smileys and can chose the one you want by clicking on it. Cool

Do they have to come back? I was hoping they'd like where they went so much that they didn't want to come back.

I don't know where Chas got the idea Paddy was turning Aaron against her?  He even told Aaron to apologise to Chas when he was rude to her.
