    Prison Wedding

I found myself profoundly unmoved by the Stape/Brown wedding and I´m one of those TV viewers who usually pours with tears at TV weddings!!

Surely the wedding should have been a most moving occasion - especially as Fizz was hustled out at the end. All the characters involved are good, solid Corrie actors who have many brilliant scenes behind them but even the "reconciliation" with Chesney left me cold.

Was it just badly written, poorly directed or carelessly acted? Whatever - it just didn´t work.

    Re: Prison Wedding

i agree and find the whole marrying him in prison a bit pathetic considering he will be out in a  few monthes even a yr its not like hes in for life is it, the whole storyline leaves me cold as john is so boring and when he starts reciting all that poetry makes me fell ill, when he gets out we will have to endure sally and rosie harping and screeching and john going im sorry, i love fizz argh its eno to make me stop watching. (sorry rant over!")

But for the sake of a couple of months patience, they will now, for the rest of their lives, whenever the subject of marriage is brought up, have to recall that day and its context.

    Re: Prison Wedding

It surprises me how Fizz not cries at the drop of a hat every time someone mentions the wedding/John etc because "it shouldn't be like this" - she was the one who wanted to get married in prison.

I think they do make a good couple but it will end in tears (hopefully Rosie's and Sally's).

Am I completely alone and rather strange in finding John Stape quite attractive? I think it's his eyes...blimey, don't hate and abuse me for this odd aberration!

Err, possibly.... I fear that you shoud pop off and have a long lie down in a darkened room and maybe these feelings will subside

I think it's the long eyelashes and hurt, defenseless expression.  I often find myself wanting to give him a warm glass of milk and a pat on the head and assure him all will be well.

No, you're not alone! Did you see him wink at Fizz as he said goodbye after the wedding when she was being ushered out by the guard? Mmmm.....

Thank heavens it's not just me who secretly has lustful thoughts about the Stapester.  I may be weird but I'm not alone in my weirdness!

Eeeeeeek! I can't believe my eyes!  Have you two been slipped some mind altering potion - or been taken over by the bodysnatchers??

Personally, I find his sheepish expression rather nauseating, and how can you respect anyone who allows that brainless trollop Rose Webster to lead him astray. I still can't get over that he gave her all that money.....

Yep.... I know I said I was going to give up Corrie - but I can't help myself, its like a disease - I have to keep watching.
