Missed the beginning, but don't understand how Charity ended up deserted by everyone when Michael was the one who had an affair that stopped the wedding. glad she's back - still chemistry between her and Cain.

    Re: the wedding

Despite myself I quite enjoyed it, even done up in her finery I thought Charity looked a bit rough and much older than Michael.  His family and friends didnt seem to like her did they?  I thought Debbie looked a right old scruff, if you are going to turn up at the church to try and stop your lover's wedding, you should at least do yourself up to the nines to let him know what he is missing, not turn up with hair scraped up in a ponytail, no make up, scruffy clothes and the usual sourfaced expression.

Michael deserted her because it was clear that she knew Cain and Charity but refused to explain until after the service. Cain told him that Debbie is Charity's daughter, the suspicious death of Noah's father,  she used to be a prostitute in the past and she lied about being pregnant.

    Re: the wedding

All I have to say on the matter (for the time being at least) is that after telling Debbie that he would 'do anything' to be with her, except for the fact that Charity was up the duff, when he found out she wasn't and was a lying tart, why did he then just say 'Goodbye Debbie'?

Next, when Debbie was determined to get him back, whilst stood in the vestry with Cain, why did she then reply to Michael's parting shot 'I wish it could have been different'?

A bit pathetic really, bit of a damp squib IMO

    Re: the wedding

who else thinks that as soson as charity finds out cain has money she will try and wheedle her way back and knowing cain he will probably sleep with her let her think shes in with a chance then laugh in her face. after charity made it clear she didnt really care about debbie how does she turn back up at the village does she use wanting to see sarah as  a excuse?

    Re: the wedding

To be fair, Michael must have been in shock. Still, there were things he and Charity said to each other that suggested their relationship wasn't very good and he didn't really want to get married.

I thought Charity was a bit like a cornered rodent.  She certainly has the look of a girl who's been round the block a few million times.  Michael didn't let us down  -  constipated to the end.

I found the wedding very exciting but it wasnt that much of a suprise, I preferd Charitys wedding to Fizz's Wedding
