    The Boat

So Gail's hanger on has bought himself a boat. Hasn't this story line been done before? That is Eastenders Minty and Gary were in the same situation. Find a new story scriptwriters, instead of plagerising others.

They were given a boat as payment for a debt and I think Gary sailed of in it with his fiance - whats her name.

Yes snowleopard Des Barnes also bought a boat which I think he burned down, although I think Joe's exit line is he going to go down with his ship.  Its a real shame about this character, like Luke Strong he started with potential to become a great character but he was dumbed down to be a bit of an annoying idiot.

At least Joe will have somewhere to live when Gail finishes with him, if that's how it ends with them. He can put it in the cut by Ken Barlow's ex bit of fluffWink

Yep,I remember the storyline with Des Barnes.Shame that Joe is supposed to be going.I agree he started of as a good character[and the actor is great.Loved him with the great John Thaw in Home To Roost],but that drug storyline was awful. And how the hell did Joe get the money to buy the boat??Wasn't he absolutely on his knees only  a little while ago?And how the hell is he gonna do it up with a bad back?Maybe he will take David out when finished and push him overboard.Do Gail and us a favour.Wink

He told Gail he was buying it off Bill in weely instalments, and when she asked him the same question about his back, he said it was fine these days! What a joke.

Now, as for chucking David off the boat, that's a stroke of genius which I would love to see, it would be on a par with Rosie getting ripped off by LukeBig Smile

What a marvellous job they have made of this boat, all with no money and in such a short space of time.  From an old tug it now looks fit for the boat show -  Truly Amazing.   What happened to Uncle Len's dodgy mates that Joe was in hock to, has that all been forgotton now?

Not quite - that story rears it's ugly head again very soon.

I have to say if I had a boat that needed doing up I'd employ those two, no messing! They have performed an absolute complete miracle in a matter of days, is there a flood coming, will they be loading up animals in pairs next? Wink

    certainly was some speedy work.

Didn't Joe say it would take a year at least? Doesn't time fly?

    Re: The Boat

O.K. I give up - who is that bloke playing Gail's younger son and what have they done with the real David!Confused  He is actually being pleasant and joking around with Joe who the last time we saw was giving him a real hard time.  When he's like that David is quite likeable and also Zoe is back on the scene and David hardly seemed to notice Tina.   Unless of course he is lulling all of us into a false sense of security.Wink

What exactly is the point of the perma scowling Tina these days?  Why is she never working in the Kabin and i wish one of the production team would tell her that her ever darkening tan in mid November looks ridiculous.
