    Williams confirm driver line up

Williams have confirmed Rubens Barrichello and Nico Hulkenberg as their drivers for 2010.

"Rubens needs no introduction. He is not only the most experienced driver in Formula One, but a passionate and talented driver who fought hard for the drivers’ championship this year,” Sir Frank Williams said. "Nico Hülkenberg won the GP2 Championship this season as a rookie and has previously won the F3 Euroseries, Formula Masters, A1 GP and Formula BMW Germany.”

Looks like Sir Frank has made quite a good decision with next years drivers. I'm looking forward to see young Nico in F1, I believe he is the best young talent out there at the moment and having Rubens along side him will be a good benchmark and provide an experienced head to help him out.

    Good luck to you all.

See thats the kind of mix that Toro Rosso are missing, they just can't compete with two rookies. I think they're all too hopeful for another Vettel.

I'm glad to see that Holdenburg got a seat for 2010, the younger generation is really beginning to take over now. I can see next year being similar to Abu Dhabi: Hamilton, Vettel, Webber all at each others throats, with Ferrari and maybe another McLaren thrown in if Kimi gets a seat there. There'll probably be a few surprises with Holdenburg and Senna, Koboyashi too maybe. Rosberg and Button will trail a bit I think, they have no more morally grey areas to use to thier advantage. I think this could be one of the best years of F1 we've had since Schumacher and Hakkinen.

good choice for williams hope they can produce a decent car to keep barichello interested. Toro Rosso made a big mistake getting rid of Bourdais even if he was underperforming The car was good, Ferrari engine red bull chassis, should have been in the points more often. Sure Alguesari has kept his head (mostly) but zero points is bad for the team. I still think they'll struggle next season without a more experienced driver. They should have put Coulthard in there with one of the youngsters.

Has anyone seen Nico Hulkenburg? When this guy wins, he leaves the rest of the field in his dust.

I know some GP2 winners come into F1 promising fireworks and at the end, they never deliver. This guy is oozing with racing talent.

GP2 unlike F1 doesn't have a big differential between teams when it comes to developement. The drivers make the difference. Nico is coming to F1 to stay!

Rubens will have a hard time keeping ahead. Saying that, with these two in the team, we have a bit of everything going on.

Talk about a perfect blend of experience and youth! If the car is up to scratch, Rubens could add a few more wins to his tally. I'd like to see him do it - as for Hulkenberg, if he proves to be more of a Hamilton than a Piquet, then he'll be great to watch. He's already had experience of testing the Williams cars, and will know the team quite well. He's got no pressure on him at all - if he loses out to Barrichello people will say 'He's young, give him time', and if he beats Rubens fair and square everyone will be impressed. It's a no lose situation for him.

    Cheers, everybody,

    THE INCREDIBLE HULKenberg

    Etc. etc. *sigh*
