Carla wiped away a few stray tears and thought about her options. When she and Tony had rows like this in the past or she had rows with other partners she would dramaticaly pack a bag and storm out. But she couldn't do that now Kalie needed her for feeds and she knew Elliot would be heart broken if he woke up and found his mummy gone. She sighed frustratedly as Kalie started to cry from the cot next to the bed. "shhh baby mummy's here" she whispered as she picked up the tiny baby.

Liam eventually headed to bed before checking on his beloved daughter. Maria had given him so much greif recently but she was still Erins mum. No matter how much she had put him through he still wanted his familly back together. Especially for his daughter as she grew up.

Maria double and triple checked she had everything. She knew she was doing the right thing. Erin and her could start a new life abroad and that would allow Liam to be with Carla and their daughter. She would be doing him a favour, he might protest at first but Maria new he would thank her one day.

Tony didnt know whether to go and talk to Carla or whether she would still be too angry. He paced up and down deciding what to do but when he heard Carla struggling with Kalie he decided he had to help out.
"Get out" Carla said in a tone that would not startle Kalie but Tony could here her anger.
"You need me to help with Kalie, let me see if I can get her to settle" Tony said slowly getting closer to Carla.
"We are doing just fine, just leave me to it, you can sleep on the sofa theres a spare duvet in the cupbord" Carla said.
"Carla you need my help, Kalie will be up all night, you can't do it all on your own" Tony pleaded.
"Oh so you dont even trust me to look after our own daughter now" Carla spat.
"Your being rediculas, I just want to help maybe I'll be able to settle her"
Carla looked at her tiny daughter screaming in her arms. "I think shes hungry, have you started to produce milk now aswell!"
 

"fine then you ungratefull b****" Tony said walking out of the bedroom slamming the door causing Kalie to cry louder "I heard that" carla shouted as Tony sighed "You was supposed to" More to himself than his wife who surely couldnt here him through the door. "sssh sssh baby" Carla said rocking Kalie in her arms as she stared at the door, why the hell did it have to be like this becuase maria the bint had said started spouting some stupid lies.

Liam awoke to the sound of the someone ringing the buzzer constantly. he yawned and stretched before dragging himself out of bed. "er hello" he said picking up the phone shocked to here Maria's voice on the other end. "I want Erin, Liam", liam buzzed her in deciding not to argue through the intercom. "where is she" Maria said barging past him into the flat, "i thought you was supposed to be in london" Liam said trying to remain calm. "i said i couldnt make it, i want my baby Liam",

"she's asleep, its six oclock" Liam said looking at the time shocked at the early hour. "i couldnt sleep i just want her liam" Maria said as she began to cry thinking of all she was missing out on, a family her liam and Erin as she had always dreamed of, but carla made that impossible or so she thought although now it was herself making it impossible. "come here" Liam said trying to invite her for a much needed hug but she pulled away "get off me, i dont know where the hell you've been, i just came round for Erin"

"daddy, daddy" Elliot said as he stood watching his dad sleep on the sofa. Tony groaned slightly stretching before opening his eyes "hey little man" Tony said lifting Elliot up to sit next to him on the sofa. "Daddy, me go wake mummy up" Elliot asked as Tony smiled slightly "no not this early mate, even daddys not that evil, how bout me and you go for a walk yeah" tony asked as Elliot shrugged "i wanna watch Thomas". "no come on lets get you dressed, daddy needs to clear his head" Tony said as Elliot looked confused not understanding what his daddy ment. "Just Elliot and Daddy" Elliot asked as Tony nodded "yeah just me and you" "oki" Elliot said remembering his sister taking his mummy and daddy of him now he'd have daddy to himself.

"Park Daddy?" Elliot asked as he sat on his bed while Tony pulled a little t-shirt over his head. "No its a bit early for that yet, we can just get some fresh air ay" Tony said trying to pick a jumper for Elliot that would match the outfit. Elliot nodded happy to be going anywhere with his dad. Tony eventually settled on a grey jumper and put it on Elliot.
Tony lifted Elliot on to the floor to admire his outfit. Carla normally picked out his clothes but he was pleased with his effort. "Dont you look handsome" Tony said. Elliot didnt take any notice he was to desperate to get out of the house. "Lets go daddy" he said pulling Tony's hand.
"Not so fast its cold out, lets put your jacket on, the last thing I need is your mummy blaiming me for you catching the cold" Tony said picking out Elliots jacket and bobble hat and putting them on him.
Tony then strapped Elliot in his pushchair as he knew they wouldn't get very far walking, and pushed him out of the apartment.

"Why dont you stay for a bit and we can talk" Liam suggested.
"I dont want to talk Liam, I came to do that yesterday but you were too busy weren't you" Maria said angrilly.
"So you just decided to embaress me and yourself" Liam said hoping he was going to get an apology from Maria for her behavior the previous day.
"Awww Carla mad at you because your little secrets out" Maria teased.
"There is no secret Maria, but Im sure Carla is mad at me. No matter how stupid what your saying is it cant be easy for Tony to hear" Liam explained.
Maria smilled "Im only helping the poor guy"
Before Liam could get any madder Erins crys broke up the argument. "Oh lookslike shes awake, Ill just go and getter and then we will be out of your hair" Maria said walking towards Erins room. 

Liam frowned slightly at his partner's somewhat erratic behaviour. Sure he understood that she was upset but he had been certain she'd have turned up later on dressed to the nines determined to show him what he was missing out on. "You know there's no rush. I happen to like having my daughter here." Liam said as Maria wandered out of the bedroom Erin's cot was in with Erin supported on her hip. "|What's the rush. Surely we can sit down and talk like adults. Whatever way we work this out we're both Erin's parents and neither of us want her to be affected do we."

"Oh save it Liam. You've got that little one upstairs to look after." Maria said as she readjusted the alice band on Erin's head. "How many times. Kalie is not my daughter." Liam said as Maria snarled somewhat at him. "Whatever."

"Daddy me walk." Elliot said kicking his legs against the pushchair as Tony pushed him down the leafy suburbs. He sometimes thought he should sell the apartment and move into one of these large detached houses with a nice garden. Somewhere Elliot and Kalie could have a swingset and a playhouse. A house where he and Carla could have barbeques in summer, a huge Christmas tree in December. He pulled the buggy to in front of a large brick house with a For Sale sign outside it. "Look El, I was gonna put in an offer for this, you and Kalie could have a playroom. But I don't know whether mummy's happy with me." Tony said knowing his son didn't understand a word of what he was saying but he needed to speak. "I love you and your sister so much, I'm scared mate. Scared your mummy is so angry with me. What if I've wreaked everything."

Tony walked as slowly as possible back to the apartment. He knew he was going to have to face an angry Carla who would no doubt be tired from looking after Kalie during the night. "please me walk daddy" Elliot pleaded from the buggy. Tony sighed they were alredy at the apartment block next to their own so it wouldn't take to long even at Elliots pace. "I suppose so then" Tony said smiling as Elliot claped his hands excitedly. Tony walked round and unstrapped Elliot. He couldnt resist pulling Elliot in for a cuddle as he eased him out of the pushchair. He held on tightly to his son, he couldn't imagine his life without him. "Oh Elliot daddy's really messed up" Tony said fighting back his emotion as Elliot, blissfully unaware of his fathers problems, enjoyed the attention he was recieving.

Just as Tony was ready to put Elliot down he watched as a taxi pulled out of his apartment block. He only really payed attention to it as he saw Maria leave the apartment building with Erin and wave to the taxi. Tony held on to Elliot a little longer so he could find out what was going on. Afterall it was still very early and he was sure Liam had said yesterday he had Erin for the week. Tony watched as the driver got out the taxi to help Maria with Erin's stuff. "We're picking up some things from Coronation Street and then we're going on to the airport" Tony heard Maria say.
Tony couldn't believe what he was seeing. He knew Liam didn't know anything about Maria and Erin going anywhere. And if Maria hadn't told Liam, Tony doubted they were going on a short holiday.
 

"shall we go see liam for a minute mate" Tony said as he sliped his card to allow entrance to the apartment block. "see uncle 'iam" Elliot repeted as Tony knocked on Liams door. "Alright mate, your not going to punch me or out are yah?" Liam asked as he opened the door to Tony,  he thought that he wouldnt really blame Tony after the alligations Maria had been spreading.

"no, I know theres no need to, look i've just saw Maria get in a taxi, and i could have swore she said something about an airport and going back to coronation street to pick up some stuff, just wondered if you knew, i mean Carla said you had Erin all week" Tony said as Liams face dropped.

"you being serious, what the hell is she playing at" Liam said running back into his flat to get his car keys.

"liam, you might not want to go rushing round there incase i got the wrong end of the stick" Tony said as Liam franticly searched for his keys like a mad man

"how can you get the word airport wrong, i knew she was acting strange i just thought she was upset but.." Liam said stopping as he finally located his keys. "couldnt get carla to text michelle and ask her to stop maria if she see's her or out erm i dont know, iv got to go" Liam said racing out the door past Tony and Elliot.

Tony quickly ran up the stairs to his apartment with Elliot in his arms having abandoned the pushchair outside Liam's. He burst through the door finding Carla with Kailie in her arms sitting on the sofa in the lounge. "where have you two been? i mean Tony you've been gone at least an hour, im surprised you trusted me all that time, you know with my reputation..." Carla started clearly still bitter with Tony.
"Carla not now, I think Maria is trying to take Erin abroad....Liams gone to try and stop her but you need to phone Michelle and see if she can stop Maria on Coronation street" Tony hurriedly explained. "Oh god, I never thought she would go this far poor Liam he must be going through hell, here take Kalie" Carla said carefully placeing Kalie in Tony's arma as she went to search for her phone.

Liam sped down the road dodging in and out of traffic trying not to think of what might happen if he was too late. He pulled up outside his and Maria's house and jumped out of the car. He ran inside and it was quickly obvious that Maria had beaten him. The house was bare all Erin's toys were gone. "No, no, no please no" Liam said allowed as he climbed the stairs, praying Tony was wrong. His worst fears were confirmed as he opened Maria's wardrobe and found it empty.

Carla found her phone just in time, as she picked it up it started to ring and Liam's name flashed up. "Did you get her" carla said still slightly in shock.
"I was too late, Im at the house and......and they've gone" Liam said, Carla could hear he was holding back tears.
"Liam its not too late get to the airport, she cant be that far ahead of you" Carla insisted.

Liam swore as the traffic lights changed to red, it was as if everything was determined to let Maria waltz out of the country with their daughter. He was only a few miles from the airport now and he already knew which flights he thought she'd be waiting for. It didn't take a rocket scientist to realise she was probably going to Cyprus, to her parents.

Tony smiled slightly as Kalie stirred a little in her sleep, she was beautiful, there was no denying that. Elliot seemed a little put out that his daddy seemed to be paying more attention to the silly baby, and that mummy was rubbing her forehead looking sad. "Elliot why don't you come sit with me and Kalie." Tony suggested wandering if he could try once more to get Elliot adjusted to his little sister. Carla looked up with interest wandering if Tony would be able to make Elliot understand that Kalie wasn't a threat.

Liam sped down the airport to the terminal hoping he'd spot his estranged wife with their daughter, he looked around as he heard a whimper but it was from a little boy in a pushchair. Skimming the boards he looked hurriedly for the flight. He needed to at least speak to Maria before she skipped the UK, make her realise that her actions would be hurting Erin in the long run.

Liam ran what seemed like miles before he spotted the chaeck in desk for the only Cyprus flight that afternoon. He looked down the long queue and finally saw Maria about to check in at the front of the queue. "Maria stop" he screamed as loud as he could making not only Maria but half the airport turn his direction.

Carla sighed as Elliot shook his head and sadly turned back to the train set he was playing with. Carla bent down to his level "Daddy's sad you don't want to sit with him" Carla said softly. She watched as Elliot turned to look at Tony "come on you can keep daddy company" she said picking Elliot off the floor. He didn't struggle so Carla placed him on the sofa beside Tony and Kalie. Carla and Tony both watched nervously to see Elliots reaction. He just sat there but he seemed quite happy to be sat near Kalie as she slept. "Its a start" Tony said optimistically.

At the air port Liam rushed to Maria "Please don't take Erin away from me" he pleaded as he got to her side. The rest of the queue watched in fascination as Maria looked embarressed. "Lets talk over here, please just two minutes" Liam pleaded as he pointed to a quieter spot of the airport. Maria nodded and followed Liam.

"Do you think Liam will have caught her" Carla asked Tony worriedly.
"I think he would have had a good chance" Tony said keeping posative for Carla's sake. "He wont cope you know..he already lost Maria he can't loose Erin aswell" Carla said worrying about her friend. "Try not to worry Im sure they will sort somthing out, we have enough to deal with here" Tony said indicating with his head to were Elliot was now looking at Kalie. "I think he's getting more used to her now" Carla siaid smilling at Elliot's curiosity of the new baby.
Just as Tony and Carla thought they were making progress Elliot leaned in towards Kalie to get a better look, unfortuantly he got too close and Kalie woke with a fright. Kalie's tiny cries shocked Elliot who burst into tears, jumped off the couch and toddled as far away from the baby as he could. 

"I dont like the baby" Elliot stated as he began to tumble his lego blocks out of his toy box rather loudly, much to Tony's dismay as he was trying to comfort Kalie would was still wimpering in his arms.
"aww , Elliot it wasnt your fault, im sure she likes her big brother, you just woke her up when she was asleep" Carla said sitting down next to him and passing him a block
"no, Dont like her" Elliot said as he continued to play with his blocks building a tower
"i hope liam caught up with Maria, he'd be deverstated if she took Erin away from him" Carla said to Tony as she stood up leaving Elliot to play.
"im sure he will have, you know how long you have to wait arround airports for" Tony said blankly he wondered for a breif moment if it would be better if liam did go arround the world chasing Maria for a while at least that way he could stop having to worried about what him and Carla might get up to.

"You cant change my mind liam, this is best, for me, Erin and you" Maria said as Liam laughed
"how is it best for me or my daughter?"
"because she wont have to grow up seeing you have the perfect family with your new baby" Maria said as she could picture dropping Erin off half wau through christmas day only to be greeted by the image of liam playing with another little girl and her brother while Carla was watching the scene laughing, her laughter because she had what Maria and Erin should rightfull have she had Liam.

"Are you crazy, Kalie is not mine, what do i need to do to prove that Maria" Liam begged as Maria sighed
"even if she's not you wish she was dont you, it's Carla you want its her you've always wanted and you can put her above me but i will not let your daughter witness you putting that cow above her liam"

"maria, how can you say ..."
"no liam dont say anything i've made up my mind and dont you dare stop me" Maria said storming off with Erin Back into the que while walking over to he security gaurd liam could see she was telling him something and pointing at liam, what the hell was she playing at.

"Carla, do you think we were happier in Birmingham?" Tony asked quite out of the blue as they ate dinner Kalie sleeping in her crib.
"Why do you say that?" Carla asked it had been a year since that was their perminant home and although she loved the house, she often felt lonely there.
"I just liked it there, it was just me you and Elliot, we didnt argue as much"
"thats because we wasnt constantly on top of each other"
"then maybe we need a bigger place over here, I've been loooking at some places, i've found a really nice house on Moore street, 5 bedrooms two with ensuits, a seperate lounge, kitching and dining room, and a downstairs playroom for the kids, an office for me. A huge back garden"
"is this some sort of appology, buying a house?"
"no but i am sorry, and i am serious about buying a house here if thats what you want, This is no place to have 2 young children growing up they need space to play"

"I think you're right, its just going to be hard leaving this place, remember when we bought this place we had all our dreams of being this jet setting business couple... it didn't really work out like that did it" Carla said looking over at Elliot playing with his fish fingers. Carla sighed she wouldn't change her children for the world but she couldn't help wandering about how her and Tony's life would be like if things were different. "And I wouldn't change that for the world, I promise you Carla you will love this house when you see it. Elliot and now Kalie are the best things that ever happened to us" Tony said.
"I'll wait and see if your still saying that when we have been up the whole night with Kalie and then Elliot is looking for someone to ply with early the next morning" Carla said.  
"Im not saying its going to be easy but we will manage and I the house will help" Tony said trying to convince Carla.
"If this is going to work you need to trust me, I need you just now more than ever but that doesn't mean im going to be married to someone who doesn't trust me"

Liam watched Maria reach the front of the check out queue before he was approached by the large security guard. "I've had a report that you are harassing passengers, Im going to have to ask you to leave sir" the security guard said squaring up to Liam. "No you dont understand thats my wife, shes trying to take my daughter away from me" liam tried to explain.
"Thats not what I've been told" the seurity guard said clearly not believing a word of what Liam was saying.
"Shes fed you her stories aswell. She doent know the truth from her own stories anymore" Liam pleaded.
"Thats enough now, Ive already asked you nicely" The security guard said forcing Liam toward the door.
"Please Maria, please dont do this" Liam shouted across the airport in one last desperate attempt to get Maria to change his mind.
Liam soon found himself outside the airport, where the security guard finally let go of his arm. "Im only telling you once or I'll call the police I dont want to see you inside the airport terminal again" the guard said sternly.

Liam didn't know what to do, he had no doubt the guard would be true to his word and call for the police and he wasn't sure what would happen. Thus he took his mobile out and phoned his in-laws determined to at least let them know his side of the story before Maria was able to feed them both her lies.

"Here let me." Tony said as Carla gently patted Kalie on the back having given her a feed. "Why don't you look through this brochure for a few minutes,see what you think. If you like it we can go for a viewing." Tony suggested looking hopefully towards Carla. He sensed she didn't want to go back to Birmingham and whilst he wanted her to be happy he didn't like been so close to Liam. Here there was always the possibility of Liam simply popping up because he was bored. At least a mile or two away he might be less likely to do things like that. Elliot was still nibbling his dinner, having managed to successfully get tomato sauce all around his mouth and onto his T-Shirt. Carla gently passed Kalie over sensing that Tony was still struggling a little to believe Kalie was his but glad he was at least trying.

Liam put his phone back in his pocket after putting his side of the story across to Maria's parents. He looked at his watch sadly. Maria's flight would be taking off now, he ached thinking of his beloved daughter getting further and further away from him. Maria's parents had assured him that they would talk to Maria and make her see that Erin needed Liam in her life, but he was worried that Maria would twist things and make him out to be a terrible husband and father who cheated at every oppertunity.

Tony was still trying to sell the new house idea to Carla. She liked the idea of a proper familly house for them but she had too much on her mind to concentrate. She was worried about whether Liam got to Erin and Maria ok. She also couldn't get rid of the nagging feeling that Tony was still unsure of how involved with Kalie he should get which was bringing her down. 
Carla watched as Elliot got bored playing with his dinner and pushed his little plate away. "You havent eaten much Ell, are you sure you cant eat some more?" Carla asked seeing Elliot had mashed up most of his food but eaten very little. Elliot nodded "no more" he said making a face at his dinner.
"Right I better get you in the bath then monster, get that ketchup out of your hair!" Carla said lifting Elliot out of his chair.
"Car that can wait, why dont you have a look at the house brochure" Tony said.
"Later, Im tired Tony, I just want to get Elliot ready for bed while I have a bit of energy." Carla said resting Elliot on her hip.
"Bubbles mummy?" Elliot asked
"Ye baby lots and lots" Carla said ruffling Elliots hair and walking to the bathroom.

Liam arrived home defeated. He really had lost everything now, his business, his wife and now his daughter. As he climbed the stairs to his apartment all he could think about was drowning his sorrows with alcohol. He got as far as his front door and realised if he went inside he was going to drink himself stupid so he kept walking to Carla's. He knew she wouldn't let him drink. He didn't trust himself on his own when he was feeling the way he did.
Tony sighed as he heard somone knock the door. He had just got settled on the sofa with Kalie. He slowly stood up with Kalie in his arms and answered the door.
He wasn't surprised when he saw Liam standing there and he didn't know why but he felt the need to hold Kalie tighter and as far away from Liam as possible.
"Is Carla there" Liam asked sadly. Tony could see Liam was close to tears and could guess what had happened. "She's bathing Elliot but come in" Tony said rather reluctantly opening his house to Liam.

how come you've got it all, A wife two beautifull kids a successfull business, enough money to have whatever you want and to give your kids everything they need. whats your secret?" Liam asked as he sat down on the opposite end of the sofa to where Tony was sat with a slumbering Kalie in his arms.
"no secret, you just have to work hard at everything, and hope for the best" Tony said as Liam nodded. "it's not like you've lost Erin, you have rights" I know it's just, i dont know, hard, nothing seems to come easy to me"

"mum i dont want him near me or Erin anymore" maria cried as she sat on the sofa, Erin happily playing with Maria's father. "But sweetheart his Erin's dad" Her mum said shying after hearing liam on the phone that morning he seemed like the dovited dad. "all he cares about is her mum, she's all his ever cared about, you should see him with her little lad anyone would think it was his son, he is allways the first to offer to babysit him and he plays with him hugs him, gives him loads of fuss and attention, i wished he'd be like that with Erin but his not" Maria lied. "and this new baby, its definatly liam's she looks just like him mum, and he was there at the birth i mean come on why else would he be there at the birth"

"are you sleepy darling?" Carla asked Elliot as she buttoned up his PJ's lifting him off the floor into her arms, "i dont want to go sleep" Elliot said as he rubbed his eyes.
"come on do you want mummy to read you a story" Carla said walking out of the bathroom
"no dont want sleepy" Elliot said as Carla looked a little shocked to see liam sitting on the sofa his head held in his hands as Tony Sat in silence holding Kalie
"liam?" Carla asked as liam looked at her and shook his head
"she cant take her away from me carla, this is going to far" Liam said looking up his eyes red from tears

A couple of days later and Liam had tried calling Maria non stop but she wouldnt answer her phone to Liam. He had managed to contact Marias mum and tell her the truth, even she had tried to get Maria to contact Liam at least to let him know that Erin was ok. Liam had tried everything to keep him busy but he still couldnt get Erin and Maria out of his head. No matter what Maria had done Liam still loved her so much.

Just then Liams buzzer rang, he quickly answered it thinking that maybe Maria had finally seen sence and come home it was Michelle. "You heard anything yet?" Michelle asked. "Nope still nothing ive spoken to her mum a few times but still nothing from Maria". "Liam why dont you go over there? sort everything out finally".

A couple of hours later and Liam had decided that he was going to go over to Cyprus. Marias parents knew that Liam was coming over, they both really liked Liam and hoped that everything would work out with him and their daughter. Liam was now at the airport waiting for the first plane he could get to Cyprus he really wanted Maria and Erin back.
