I really must protest about the blatant  misuse of camera angles and positioning of the No Smoking signs on  nearly EVERY scene in the Rovers.  This is an insult to every working class smoker who helped make the street into the money making machine it is today.  Since the smoking ban came into effect on July 1st pubs up and down the country are going out of business and throwing countless thousands of hospitality workers on the dole.  2008 will be hard enough for them without Coronation Street ramming the reason for their misery down their throats at every  opportunity!   We all  know the law  by now,  (I, and many others, are fighting it) and don't need it ramming down our throats.
