I think this duo do have a degree of potential - but these acts are ten a penny! They harmonised badly during their semi-final performance and really need to get themselves a decent coach to guide them. If they can do so - and improve - then maybe they can return next year and do better. One important point, however, is that of talent alone not being enough. So many performers seem to believe that all they need to win a show like BGT is ability. Not true! They need to deliver the goods flawlessly, under tremendous pressure and on live television. Per dium failed to do so.
But i think what really devastated both guys - and especially the one standing and leading the vocals - was the fact that Simon buzzed them. I honestly think that these two had started to believe Simon was their road to success. I think they had fantasies of being signed by his record company and taking the music world be storm. When Simon buzzed, I think they were so utterly devastated that they wouldn't think straight. They simply saw their dreams shatter before their eyes and couldn't cope. Sadly, they allowed themselves to behave like very poor losers and, to be blunt, rather like spoilt brats, instead of reminding themselves that, in the midst of their disappointment, they had already had a wonderful opportunity which may still lead them somewhere wonderful.
It's not as if the world begins and ends with Simon Cowell now, is it?
