I have been aware of the amount of construction that seems to be happening everywhere. not long ago i had to move house so the council could buy up our street so they can redevelop it.

I have been hearing about people having to up roots and go elsewhere alot lately, and i know its daft, but what would the cast of Coronation Street do under these circumstances?

This would be a good plot line. Having the residents or Coronation street and Rosamond street. Banding together, and ken barlow in the lead with his petition...

In a sense they have already introduced this idea, with the flats that have been built near Roy Croppers shop.

What if the Cold-hearted Council opted to redevelop the street, it would be good to see public television get back at the local authorities, ripping up people lives just so they can waste money on unneccesry development for profit...

Alot of the nation watches Corrie, and the way i see it, the majority can relate, if not with there own houses, then a local area they know of that has been unnecissarily changed. Due to the shows popularity, I feel it would be good to get this point accross, to show this kind of thing happens, and maybe there is something we can do to prevent it...

That and it would be fun to see a good old fashioned human wall on the street again, Janice in front with her mouth and Ken with the paper work. ha-ha will be both funny and insightfull...
