1. No singers - just 'variety' acts. We all know that Cowell etc make more money out of singers than, say, barmen jugglers, but they have many other shows that top up their bank accounts. Let us enjoy some 'variety' for a change and forget about making money.
2. Keep the cameras still and focussed on the acts whilst they are performing. We don't need to keep zooming in, up , out and around (making us feel sea-sick) and we can see enough of the panel and the auto-q reading presenters between acts.
3. Position cameras so that we can see the act as the artist planned it - not as 'camera artwork'. Give us the opportunity to appreciate the act as it was envisaged by the artists.
4. Show the number of votes received (freedom of information - and audit for charity donations).
5. During the 'finals' week let the 'votes' stand until ALL acts have performed then take the top 10 for the final night. Much better way of getting a final show made up of the best acts.
