I totally agree - it's all about sponsors & money & b****r the racing. And, yes. I would watch at any time (there's always the VCR).
I hate these trench-circuits, contained within concrete & wire-mesh walls - let's have the open, free flowing spectacle of a proper race track or original street circuit. I've just had to view a re-run of Spa on my PC via ITV1's splendid Catch-up facility. Go on - make yourself happy again & take a look. This is what circuits & racing should be about (minus FIA issues).
Finally - what a failure the SC rules are. I say - 1) keep the pits open at all times, 2) freeze the race order when SC deployed until a car pits, then 3) let the car return at the end of the SC procession & 4) the race order continues as per laps completed. No fuss, no unfair advantage, no-one caught out with no fuel etc, etc.- just a proper race.
