1 engine rule for all teams will be the death of F1 in my opinion. Different engine suppliers makes and adds to the specticale that is formula1. Currently there are

Ferrari, Mercedes, BMW, Renault, Toyota and Honda - surely F1 needs the money that these companies invest in F1, if they go to 1 engine supplier then 5 of the above manufactorers will go and I cant see how that is a step forward for F1. 

I reckon your right oldgit it would seem simple logic that a simple freeze in the regulatons from 2009 would reduce costs.
