On our end in Canada it just happened recently although I heard when it happened on your end.  The scene itself was tragic and went to pieces afterwards.  I will miss her as well but all good and great things must come to an end just a shame they couldn't have just had Jack and Vera just move off to Blackpool.  My gran didn't have the luxury of dying so eloquently but wonder now who the olds are now Liz MacDonald and Eileen? Or Norris and Emily? I remember Derek and Mavis and those two were comics as well the show has given in to American tactics and added more drama and less fun.  Next it will be Betsy Corrie of old will change now that Vera and Jack will be gone forever RIP.......
