Hi Herne, yes, I agree with you, it's very sociable to meet up in the pub, even if you're tee-total you can enjoy a fruit juice with your friends!! I like that atmosphere ( I don't drink now but I was frequenting pubs before I was 18!!) and that is what I miss more than the actual drinking, the conviviality of the pub and a great place to meet your friends!! In every "soap" there's a pub and it's the centre of everything that's going on in the town or village.
