What do Corrie viewers think of the outcome? I, personally think it was a travesty!! For a start Gary Windass was under a suspended sentence, which means he was not actually punished for his previous crime, his sentence was upheld. That means if he commits any other crime during that period of time, then he should be imprisoned. I know  the law states that the person throwing the first punch should be the guilty party but Gary brutally assaulted David (whichever way you look at it). After all Windass was winding David Platt up and had been all day. Also he was insulting David until finally David snapped andlashed out at Gary but David is not a fighter and could not defend himself against this thug!! I would be very interested to hear other viewers comments on this subject.Thanks a lot!!
