The whole chat on cognitive therapy was absolutely stupid. Quite frankly the only person who had a right to talk about it was Linda. I'd really like to know what the other two claim any right to talk about something they very clearly don't understand.

 I'm offended that somebody in these times still carries around a very negative attitude towards mental health issues. I hope he never has the misfortune to suffer from a breakdown himself because I'm sure it would be a very difficult task for him to ask for help. 

 I'm more offended that not only does he have a negative attitude but tries to inforce his narrowminded opinion onto the general public - which I would like to add is full of a much older generation that has been taught to compress and hide any emotions they are afraid of. 

 This attitude in this day and age on the television has done the complete opposite of awareness and help. If anything the whole thing has made anybody sitting at home watching Alan today with emotions and feelings of being alone and afraid has made them feel more insecure and worthless to ask for help than ever before.

 People whom actually have suffered from any kind of mental health issue or had somebody they love suffer, they will be just as offended, if not more than me. 

 The key to help is through knowledge, not this kind of negative press. 

 Pathetic.
