I have a profoundly held belief.  I believe that under a hill in Wales, King Arthur and his knights lie waiting until Albion is in her gravest peril, when they will rise from the dead to protect her.  The evidence?  Oh there isn't any.  But it's my sincere belief and you must all respect that and not offend me by pointing out the blindingly obvious problems with it.  If I could and had the power to do so, I'd gladly torture and incarcerate every one of you disbelievers - for your own salvation. 

None of this is any more insane than Christianity.
