Bring the Heroes back! 

It's not too difficult to bring back Cutter & Stephen...these two very important characters.  It's series suicide to allow Cutter to go.... Stephen,too..  The most credible way to "ressurrect" our two heros would be that they never actually died.  They were forced through an anomalie by Helen and have been stuck in the past (or future) as Helen recreated their "look alikes" through cloning. 

So in essense, The Stephen we knew who gave his life for his friends was actually a clone... and the same scenario with Cutter.   Then, when you bring them back, they are the original team members, confused by what has been going on. 

We could start an episode with Helen having a flash back of Stephen and Cutter and then we see the two men hiking on a mountian in some prehistoric era looking for another anomalie to jump through as they have been trying to find their way back home.  Finally they get home and then get caught up with everything that's been happening including Helen's diablical plans... and America...which is just learning about the show, will be very happy...You NEVER KILL THE HERO this early in a series. 

I don't know if I will have any more interest in the show without Cutter.  I haven't had the chance to view series 3 yeat as BBC america just started airing it this weekend as the Sci Fi Channel is just in the middle of Series 1.   With Cutter dead.....America won't put up with it... it will die here before it gets off the ground.  Isn't this what you want?  A wash out OR.......A total smash hit that makes it here in the USA?  If you want it to be a cult show like Dr. Who....then keep Cutter dead and keep your cast underpaid....
